Last Sunday my husband stopped in to get wings for me. Since it was going to take a while the bartender (young lady with an accent) suggested a beer. My husband enjoyed the company, menu and atmosphere so much he suggested we stop in for dinner. We did so this evening and the food was delicious, however the booth service was terrible. After we were seated the waitress walked away. About 10mins later she returned and said "Don't think I forgot about you" and asked us if we'd like something to drink which should have been asked when we were seated. After a while she returned with the beers but had to go back for our water. When she returned we placed our order for wings, fries and bangers and mashed. When she returned with our food I requested some extra hot sauce, when she returned with my sauce I had to ask for more napkins since I only had 1 napkin for my plate of wings. After some time of husband trying to get her attention she came over and we requested the check and 2 to-go containers. I watched as she walked away, she proceeded to start clearing the sternos from the table from a birthday party and start setting up the utensils and plates for the cake. She then got the containers and I thought we were on a roll. Nope, she proceeded to move the gifts on the table to retrieve the ketchup bottle and put it away. Read moreA friend and I went there today for the 1st time. One waitress!!! For the whole entire place and on a Saturday no less. This woman was so stressed that at times she seemed rude but then I realized she was all over the place trying to make everyone happy. Shame on the owners not to hire or have on omg on a Saturday no less more waitresses. I'm an Irish broad and this is suppose to be an Irish pub?? Go to Ireland and learn how to run a business. As far as the food, the French onion soup was good but you guys or gals d ont know how to make REAL baked clams, the seasoning in it was peppers!! Who puts peppers in baked clams!!! Read moreOk, so I do have to say that the food and service were fantastic. Atmosphere was pretty chill. There were 2 problems that I had. 1) There were signs on the back mirror stating that there was a credit card minimum of $20. NYS law mandates that an establishment may require no more than a $10 minimum to use a credit card. Many bars use this tactic to coerce customers into spending more. 2) Something I have never seen before. At about 8:45pm, they put out signs on the bar that stated it was cash only after 9pm. That is super shady. Since they were holding my card as an open tab, it was not enfoced when I closed out. But I would love to know if the owner idls aware of this, and an explanation as to why.
