Live fly strolling across a take out salad(clearly do not clean produce)…even more repulsive was the customer service by the lady working the front this past Thursday afternoon! I ordered takeout at 11:15 for 5 people, added a soup and salad when I arrived at 11:50, 20 minutes later, I politely asked... a 2nd time if it was ready, and was told”what do you want, you added to the order”(they quickly wrapped the soup that was sitting on the counter, and put it in the bag, they had forgotten, and were rude). Got to my meeting late, and the “bonus protein” was discovered by Amy who saw it walking about before opening the salad. I took the salad back, and was pretty much accused of putting the live fly into the salad myself! I was told, “maybe when you opened it”…we never opened it…”well I wasn’t there so I don’t know that” was her answer, basically calling me a liar…which is ludicrous as where would I find a live fly in a doctors office in the middle of winter? Owner is a terrible business person. Food is good, I have ordered many times from my office as well as my staff. After 5 separate occasions of my order missing a component, the sixth time it happened I was so hungry that I ate the sandwich that they sent even though it was the wrong one. I called to let them know and their solution was to have the delivery man take the sandwich that I already unwrapped and touched to the right owner and deliver mine (that some stranger touched already) back to me. I would imagine that’s a health code violation. I won’t order from them again, however, my staff has tried and they refuse to deliver to us just to spite me.
