I wish I had the better experience that others had. I ordered 2 Shrimp platters and 1 fish and chips. And it was pretty bad. The shrimp were over cooked, badly, and the breading they used had an awful taste which made it worse. The shrimp was gummy and chewy and hard to swallow. I couldn't make it past 2 pieces of shrimp and my wife gave up after the first shrimp she ate. I decided to eat the Fish and Chips instead and that was weird. The fish itself was slimy. It looked as if the batter didnt cook evenly and the texture really threw me off. It wasnt flaky like fish and chips are normally. Sadly, I spent a good amount of money just to throw the food out because of it's taste. I hope that this was just a bad day and the next time, it will be better.

Very impressive. The oysters were some of the best I've ever had. I got the po'boy and it was right up my alley. I might make this place a more frequent stop. Can sit down or take out. It's kinda set up like a deli when you first walk in but there's seating to the right and a couple tables on the sidewalk with umbrellas where you can see the LI Sound. If you are planning on going to the beach. Its about 200 yards away. Totally walkable. Or you can walk directly across the street and just look at the water. But it's not a beach. We were looking for a seafood place near the water on a Monday and this restaurant was one of the few opened. We were so pleased by the delicious food we were served! The lobster bisque was full of big chunks of lobster. The crab cakes were wonderful and so was the lobster roll which cost less than it did in Maine last week! It is not a fancy place but very clean and the owner was very friendly!
