I don’t usually leave reviews, but Shelly at Burger King absolutely deserves to be recognized. I went through the drive-thru to pick up meals for my three kids, and it was clear the place was super busy with a long line and drinks behind. Despite the rush, Shelly stayed calm, friendly, and totally in control.
What truly blew me away was how she treated my son when he didn’t want the drink that came with his meal. Instead of being annoyed or rushing us through like most would, she took the time to talk to him, figure out what he liked, and made him a special drink with mixed flavors. He was so happy – and I was beyond impressed.
Shelly is not just an amazing employee—she’s an exceptional human being. I've never seen this level of kindness, patience, and care in the fast food world. She turned what could’ve been a stressful stop into a moment we’ll actually remember.

The sandwich maker was slammed, but the others were just standing around waiting for an order, or wandering around in a somnambulist daze. The person who appeared to be the shift leader didn't even acknowledge my presence as I was clearly waiting in the area to pickup online orders. I waited over 7 minutes for a sandwich that was already in the window when I got there. It happened again to my coworker just now. When they spoke up that they had placed the order online and could see the order waiting in the window, members of the staff blurted out "we're busy!" and they waited almost 20 minutes to get cold food. I worked in the food industry for over 25 years and I know that when food is ready and the customer is there to get it THIS IS THE TOP PRIORITY!
