I have never had a bad experience at your store until tonight. In fact your store is one of the few stores that I feel comfortable asking the staff questions and listening to their advice. I’ve shopped at the store since its open and worked in the plaza and have recommended the store to my customers because the quality of service, knowledge and price. So, tonight I decided to stop in your store at 8:52, yes I know the audacity. Yet, I did politely stop and ask the nice men in the vestibule if you were still open. They assured me you were but warned me that you would be closing in a few minutes. I told them it was fine I would be out in a minute. I enter the store knowing exactly what I wanted, a bottle of cupcake wine. I rarely drink wine but this is for my 25 year old sister who happens to be a nurse at strong and tends to work 12 hour shifts so getting to the liquor store is sometimes not in her schedule. She was having a bad afternoon and had asked her boyfriend to pick up a bottle of wine but it wasn’t on his way. So I decided to get her a bottle because if anyone deserves wine after a long day its a nurse. There are two people standing near customer service a man with a name tag and a beautiful blonde woman dressed to the nines. I look at them with questions in my eyes. The women asked if I needed something I asked if she worked here, I guess a dumb question but she wasn’t wearing a name tag or century shirt so she could have been another customer who didn’t like me staring at the employee she was talking to. She very snidely replied yes. I explained I needed a bottle of cupcake wine and she of course asks what kind and I said it doesn’t matter I was getting it for my little sister. Now here is thing I’m trying to be quick thus the asking for help and not caring what kind of wine beside the brand she loves. The lovely blonde with not such a lovely personality responds “well how old is your little sister?” A little shocked I replied 24 (she corrected me when I told her this story when I got home). Luckily, I started to get mad which overshadowed my embarrassment. The blonde then said they should be in California and went back to her discussion with the other employee. Now any other time an employee would have offered to show me but after 850 are all bets off? Do your customer service standards go out the door just like your hoping your customer do? If you don’t want to help customers so close to 9. Close at 845 if those two men (who politely told me to have a good night) had said you were closed I would have left no problem. Being a customer service industry you would think customer service no matter the time should be the number one importance. By the way I was on...
Read moreI was just in the store to purchase two bottles of wine. Craig was at the cash register ready to cash me out when I go to share that I had forgotten my license. Before I could complete my sentence, Craig thought it would be appropriate to interrupt and make a scene in the store about it. His tone was more than degrading, conceited and down right out of line for what the situation called for. As someone that has worked in customer service for numerous years, this gentleman surely has no idea what manors are or for that fact how to control their own temper. When I came back, with my ID, and other types of verifications of age, he was still rude and once again interrupted my sentence before I was able to finish it. Craig is very unprofessional and has anything but poise. I feel that before servicing anyone else, he should probably learn the fundamentals of communication on how to get his point across without being as abrasive as he was. If you want to have a terrible experience while shopping for this form goods, this is the place for you! And if you want a place with half decent customer service with professionals and education on the alcohol, I suggest you try the...

In two minutes She left and was crying. The man was so hideously rude. She told him from the beginning that She needed help picking a wine because she doesnt drink it and doesnt know much about it. He didn't step one inch from behind his big counter in the center of the store. He fired questions at her and acted like She was an idiot if She didn't know the answer , asked her if She had $400 to spend really sarcastically, and then scolded her for not giving him enough information. She told him he was incredibly rude and walked out. Never ever again will We ever go to Century Wines. Ever. And you shouldnt either. Especially if you...
