Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Town of Pittsford

I have never had any issues ordering food or with the quality of the food before. However with a new diet restriction, this is one of few places I can grab a quick cheap meal now. I've ordered through doordash for both pick up and delivery from here also without issue. We recently placed a pick up order. When my boyfriend went to go pick up the order he was treated like he was trying to steal food or something. He was told that it was a delivery order set to be picked up but it wasn't. He even watched door dash drivers come and go. Then he was told he needed a confirmation number which doordash doesn't supply. I called from home and asked why they won't release my order for pick up and I was told there was no order and to contact doordash. I repeated that I received notice of the order placed, being prepared and that it was ready for pickup. I was told again to contact doordash. I was upset at this point and said "so after all this time he has to now go sit and wait till I can get ahold of doordash for an order he was told was there but for delivery but you say there's no order at all now"? And again was told to contact doordash. I then said to f-off and hung up because this was ridiculous after this many circles. At some point someone handed by boyfriend the bag of food that was sitting there for an hour at this point and said "just take it". By the time he got home it was cold, soggy and gross. But the receipt on the bag matched everything I had on our end and in big letters "pick up". Doordash credited my account but this place just lost a customer who would be ordering weekly. Although Guacamole in East Rochester doesn't have much for plant based options, their food and service is a million times better than this chain...

The restaurant was FILTHY. I have worked in the food service industry and in management for over 20 years so I understand how hard it is sometimes to keep up when busy. A friend was waiting for me inside for about 10 minutes before I arrived - upon entering I noticed that every table - approximately 10 were COVERED in food from previous guests. There was food all over the floors, the chairs were misplaced at tables all over and several of the chairs were broken. My friend said that no one had come in in the 10 minutes he had been there and none of the staff came out to clean the tables or floors in that time. They were all standing together talking.

I almost walked out but decided that maybe it was a tough day for the staff and ordered anyway. Customer service was terrible. The employee did not say hello or greet me just looked at me waiting for me to order.

We decided to sit and eat against my better judgement because the tables were DISGUSTING. I used the brown paper bag ripped in half as a table cover. In the following 20 minutes the staff served a few more customers, stood together and talked some and still no one came out to clean.The two garbages at the front were overflowing. Will absolutely not be returning, and I would have put forward disciplinary action to all the employees that day if I knew my team were upholding a facility to...

I couldn't even get to the food. I stopped in and like always, the first thing i had to do was hit the RR. It was a single use bathroom and someone was in there. So I waited. Err. I had to use it. Generally you know when it's your turn, the flush and sink are a dead give away. Didn't hear that. Door unlocks. Click. Out walks an employee. Apron on. Adjusting pants. It didn't hit till I walked in. Sink didn't come on after he used it. Toilet didn't flush. This employee didn't wash his hands or flush. It was gross. My friend ordered as didn't because he basically insisted. I'm literally couldn't do it. As a restaurant owner I was disappointed and bumed that I couldn't try the food. :/ Being in this induatry, i cant in good conscience say, don't try this place. Its not corporate practice to be so careless and unsanitary. I can attest to the amount of detail chains invest in training and trying to be proactive. They try! And in my experience that tends to be a far safer bet than most corner store delis and etc. In closing here's what i want to impart. As a consumer you should always assert your reasonable expectations of an establishment. Following standard sanitary practices are a no brainer. This time...
