My husband and I went out to dinner at this restaurant last night. He ordered chicken fajitas and the plate look beautiful and everything was correct. I ordered the barbecue bacon burger without the onion or the pickles. When our plates were brought to the table the server put our plates down in front of us and promptly turned and started fast walking away. I yelled out that my burger was wrong. The server came back and I said that my burger was not supposed to have coleslaw on it. He said oh that’s lettuce. I said that is not the burger that I ordered off the menu. He took the plate back to the kitchen. A few minutes later the waitress came out carrying the same plate insisting that this was the burger I ordered. I told her that the burger I ordered was supposed to have two patties, not one. She brought the plate back to the kitchen came out a couple minutes later and said that the manager was making me a new burger. About 10 minutes later, she came out with a burger that was made correctly, except for the fact that I had asked for medium to medium rare, and this burger was quite well done. As she had already left, and I couldn’t see her to flag her down, I decided to just start eating the burger. When I was about halfway done she came over to ask me how everything was. I told her that the burger was well done. She offered to have the burger made again, but I really did want to get home before midnight. The restaurant was not busy. This is the first time that I have gone to a restaurant, had a problem with my order, and that the manager did not come over and apologize. I don’t think we will be going back to this...
Read moreTerrible. We haven't been to chili's in about 10 years, Decided to give them a try tonight. What a terrible mistake. I ordered the 10 oz steak which was an extra $4 because of the extra ounces in steamed broccoli. I asked our server if there was butter on the broccoli because I do not like butter and was told no. When my entree came out not only was my steak covered in melted butter but it had ran off on to the plate and the steamed broccoli with swimming in it. When I asked the server what that was covering my steak she blankly looked at me and said oh that's butter. I reiterated that I asked for no butter and she said she would have my dinner remade. 15 minutes later my new entree came out, My steak that was supposed to be medium rare was like shoe leather it was so overcooked. I was still charged the extra $4 for a steak that I only took 3 bites of, had to wait extra 15 minutes and couldn't choke down because it was so dry. It will be at least another 10 years before we go back. Being the good person I am I still left a very generous tip for the waitress, Hopefully the next person that orders no butter she will remember me and mention it...
Read moreHonestly i had the worst experience there. I can't blame my server laura. But how old are we for childish high school games at work? Why would you stick a sign on your coworkers back and let her walk out with it on the floor? Not to mention because people were so focused on writing the note or food was undercooked. And the manager on duty last night was the worse. Both her & the bartender and a few other people saw the poor girl had the note on her back. None of them did anything to get her attention nor to help her. And the bartender saw this old man was clearly too drunk to drink and she kept serving him alcohol and took the money instead of calling him a cab. If this is what this establishment will be i have no interest in returning. And they brought the wrong order to our table and told laura it was hers. If she was new, why would you break someone in that way, and the young manager there did nothing to help her......i would rather go to McDonald's and spend less money at this point then to go back to...
