They've implemented an ordering kiosk system that doesn't accurately describe what's being offered. I intended to order a breakfast special, eggs and hash browns. I added the options for plain bagel, no shmear, American cheese, and did not choose to put the eggs on the bagel. I thought I'd get a plate with eggs, hash browns, and a bagel. Instead I got it all in a single sandwich. I did not personally enjoy this and ended up throwing out half the bagel.
When I saw I only received a fully made sandwich, I asked the person who gave it to me and he said that's what I ordered. Everything was melted together and I couldn't separate the hash browns. I didn't have time to argue or protest, so I couldn't get it corrected.
Overall, my experience was less than ideal.
That said, I've been there many times before they implemented this kiosk system and found the food to be quite good and enjoyable. Next time I'll order at the counter and be forced to pay cash to make sure I'm getting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHE WORST BAGEL SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Kosher bagel shop that gives Jews a bad name. I waited 15 minutes for them to make 2 everything bagels and cream cheese to go since I am doing my Pesach Shopping at Evergreen and Bingo from Schenectady/Albany/Troy.
I paid $ 4.50 and got a sliver of cream cheese on both bagels and they were mediocre bagels (They were a bit bigger than LENDERS Frozen Bagels), Unlike the classic H&H Mega size bagels that sent Cosmo Cramer on Strike for Festivus.
SO crowded and no where to sit for an Upstate New Yorker. All annoying regular orthodox school kids everywhere and pushy.
Next time I am Monsey shopping, I will just get a Falafel from Pita Land down the street.
EATING HERE WAS NOT A FESTIVUS MIRACLE. Never eat here again. Plus, they hire NON JEWS here and do not support their fellow YIDS for giving them parnassah (Financial well being and livelihood)....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a few scrambled eggs sandwiches a few years ago on Erev Pesach (The eve before the Passover Jewish holiday), they gave me cold un-tasty (Missing salt and spices) eggs, which was cooked at least 2 hours before. When I asked them to give me fresh eggs (Cooked on the spot) like any other take-out shop, they refused and told me that on busy days, this is what I get. Sweety, but I paid full price, and if it wasn't Erev Pesach I would prepare my scrambled eggs at home, and wouldn't spend on outside food. So basically, you take advantage and don't satisfy your cash paying customers, Yoffee Coffee across the street provide excellent customer service even on the busiest days of the year, so I know...
