Went out for a wine and cheese night at the corner counter since we have been pleased with buying their unique cheeses to bring home. The service was nonexistent, we seated ourselves at a table, went to the counter to order, they brought out the wrong wine and did not bring napkins utensils or plates or wipe down the tables of guests who had finished and left. We ordered two glasses of wine and their “big board” which was $40. Three cheeses and three meats which were “monger picked” consisted of a baby brie, cheddar, gouda, salami, smoked pepperoni and one specialty meat together with fig jam, cornichons and dried apricots. Asking $40 for their hand picked “artisan cheese and charcuterie” and then being served something with small portions, little variation and poor service the quality advertised wasnt there. After we ate we walked around the grocery section to buy some bread and cheese before going home. When we went to check out the guy tried only charging us 3.50 for the bread we picked, seemingly unaware that we had just spent over an hour there when he was the one to take our order. We corrected him and paid for the full service but it quite honestly left a bad taste in our mouths and gave the impression that this small business preaching to the community about specialty cheeses and such is all about money. Pictured is the board we paid $40 for. The cheeses displayed none of which were actually served on their “monger” curated board. The dried apricots they’re selling for $3.79 for a whole container. Our previous visits were much better, but after trusting their “monger” selection I don’t anticipate coming back for seconds.

I recently placed an order for a small charcuterie board to serve at a holiday party. Lauren, the owner, worked with me to decide what size board would be best for my crew. We decided on the small board full of her tasty recommendations. Communicating with Lauren and her team made it nice and easy to pick up at the right time before my celebration. Everything was absolutely delicious, and everyone who enjoyed it loved it. Thank you, Lauren!

Love the corner counter! I am a huge cheese fan and have even worked at a cheese shop, so I can say that this oe is really top-notch. I love the owner, Lauren's, curation of cheese from local creameries and from notable regions around the world, it's a very good mix. Also, this is hands down the best grilled cheese I've ever eaten, and I've eaten some really good ones. Definitely worth the calories!!

What a great place! My friends and I stopped here last Sunday after spending the day at Omi in Ghent. I had the grilled cheese with fig jam and they both had the figgy piggy. Teas are by Harney & Sons and how can you go wrong with that! All three of us chose the seeded bread which was excellent. The place is bright, inviting and there's lots of stuff to shop for while your waiting for your meal. I will go again and I highly recommend you check this little gem out in our beautiful...
