Fry Pan — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

Being a visitor to Riverhead, I am one who doesn't generally eat at chain establishments. I felt like having a Chinese dinner and Google Maps showed me Fry Pan with a 4.1 rating. I will definitely echo that rating. I ordered a hunan chicken combination plate (entree, fried rice and egg roll) and steamed pork dumplings. The egg roll never made it to the hotel, as I was hungry and aroma of the food overcame me. Definitely, I was off to a great start, as the egg roll was crunchy and tasty. Back at my room, I dug into the dumplings. They were not the typical wrap with a small tight meatball inside, but 8 pillows with seasoned minced pork contained within. The hunan chicken was nicely seasoned, but I like mine with a bit more sauce which was missing. All in all, Riverhead, I believe, has a great choice for Chinese. Fei Chang...

July 19th I have worked all day with my family. We both left the house without eating . It's hot and humid traveled back and forth to New Hyde Park. The tall thin young lady who talks over you as make your order and doesn't listen. We order a combo shrimp with lobster sauce and an egg roll. The rest was shrimp with lobster sauce qrt and white rice and a general taos. We get home and my meal isn't even in there. Thanks so much I am fuming I am starving. I also get to hear once again the shrimp is way over cooked. Fry pan please go back to the place you were. Detail and cate about food. The small lady and always helpful seems to be the only one who can take the orders. As for the cooks stop over cooking the shrimp and other things. I am again upset hungry but I missed nothing as the food was horrible. Sorry...

I used Fry Pan for my house party catering. I’d say it was a pleasant experience and the food tasted much better than other Chinese restaurants nearby. They have been very helpful and professional. I called Tina to book the catering and she helped me decide the dishes based on the number of guests I have. When I picked up the food, the food were all well-packed in 16 party trays and had no wait time.

The guests were happy about the food and I would definitely recommend Fry Pan...
