Target — Local services in Town of Riverhead

The employees that work there are either rude or are very oblivious to everything. I usually return cans and bottles at this location then go in to grab something to make for dinner or something for my household. Every time the bottle room machines are always full and I usually have to wait 20 minutes to find out they sent the one and only person to change the bags inside the machine home at noon. Also when I ask for change because the Girl/boy Scouts or a good cause is outside I would like to break my 100 dollar bill and give the organization 5 dollars “sorry we can’t do that unless you buy something” really you can’t just open the till and help me out after I just spent 200 dollars in groceries and other goods in your store. To add insult to injury I was going down the isle with all the sports drinks to get some Gatorade for the gym an employee was coming down the isle to restock the shelves with one of their large U shaped hand truck contraptions. So I get out of the way cause those things are hard to move and there is room enough to get passed. As he gets close the hand truck thing bumps into me. Doesn’t hurt nothing breaks everything is ok from my end and the stores end but he huffs and rolls his eyes like I am a bad guy and is making his job a lot harder when I didn’t do anything and I should have complained. The truth is, if you’re looking for the best price on just about anything, and you want instant gratification (aka you don’t want to order on Amazon), Target is probably your place.. Of course Walmart is always an option, but let’s just say that’s a whole different shopping experience!! The parking lot here in Riverhead is huge so you’ll always find a spot, and the staff is well trained and always helpful.. Their selection of products seems to keep expanding to offer better quality and even the Target brands seem to get better over time.. The clothing is simple and trendy and definitely reasonably priced.. The electronics department has a huge selection of consumer level products at good prices.. They carry a wide range of Apple products, GoPro, and even DJI drones.. We all know that their toy selection offers more to choose from than any kid really needs! Over the last few years they’ve begun selling lots of health brands in their supplement/pharmacy section, as well as their produce.. They really do have some great food options now, ranging from organic produce and non dairy products, to kombucha and organic coconut water.. Definitely a good option to have this Target right here in Riverhead.. Did I mention that there’s a Starbucks in...

I’ve shopped in Riverhead target many times and was always happy so i had no reason to think I wouldn’t be happy when I purchased an intex air mattress ( very nice) only when i blew it up I discovered it had a large leak! So I stuffed the thing back in the box as best as physically possible and taped it closed and brought my receipt to the store to return it, now mind you I purchased this for company i had coming and when I learned it was no good i shot up to Walmart to buy something they could sleep on!! So i get to target customer service with my receipt and they tell me i can’t return it cause it’s open!! Well how in the heck would I know it was leaking without taking it out and blowing it up?? Well it gets even worse because not only won’t they return it, I can’t get a store credit either!!! I can only take in exchange the same exact product!! I just bought another from Walmart cause you were closed when I discovered it was leaking!!! I might as well bang my head against the wall because they will not return my money or give me a store credit!! Buyer Beware!!! They don’t have a friendly return policy!!
