Well, I don't want to run down a business, but my experience was not good.
The food, that is. Did take out, people were nice, promptly got to my order, but I came away very disappointed.
I did show up right at 11am when they open and I noticed garlic knots in the display case/warmer.
I ordered 4 garlic knots and I chose a calzone with sausage, peppers and onions.
Everything was sub-par. I couldn't even really eat the calzone as it was so sloppy, floppy, and visually unappealing. You'll see the photos.
The cheeses were very separated and the mozzarella didn't really melt, it congealed.
When the calzone cooked, it burst, and the contents slid a little as I carried it to my vehicle. Pretty much everything came out of it, but I was able to slide it back in.
The garlic knots had no garlic. I mean none. If it's in there, it's hiding. And no butter either. Very dry.
It looks like a place that's been in business for many years, and I can't imagine that it would still be going if people didn't frequent it and like it enough to go back, but I assure you, the calzone is not going to win anyone over.
I really wanted a couple slices, but I didn't see any pizza out, so if I'm in the area again, maybe I'll swing by around noon and try a slice, but as far as the calzone and knots, never again.
Hard to rate the atmosphere as I went there right when it opened and it was empty. I mean, I was in at 11am on the nose, so it's gonna be tough to be packed and have a good vibe going at that time, can't blame the restaurant.
I tried to eat the calzone, but after a couple bites, I decided to feed the wildlife.that's...
Read morePlaced a order over the phone for shrimp scampi over linguine and chicken cutlet parm hero,, was told 25 min. Show up 30 min latter and was told they gave my order to someone else. Then a younger guy says he gave it to a drunk guy! Was told it be another 15 min by an older guy and 5 min by the younger guy. Its cold so I wait out in my truck with it running costing me money. Go back in 12 min latter and pay full price for my food no discount given for there mistakes. Get home and grab food out from my car and I have scampi sauce all over my floor matt in my car. I'm upset but hungry. Go inside and take a bite of the linguine and its over cooked taste like Jared can pasta. The scampi sauce was like water, very watered down and the shrimp had the tails on not removed. Ok so I'm not happy so I move onto the hero, take a bite and its almost cold, room temperature, 3 strikes your out!! The chicken cutlet parm hero was very dry as well. I hate leaving a negative review like this but come on now. People read these good reviews and rely upon them for an honest review. Well here it is! Skip this place and go...
Read moreNot a very good experience and very expensive for what I got for the money. This meal was not freshly made to order and the chicken parmigiana was husby testing and tuff for a chicken a parmigiana meal. The side of pasta was good but not worth the price of $24 dollars plus tip for the quality of this meal. If I am in the area in the future I may stop in for the pizza because I did take note that the locals were only ordering the pizza and it did look acceptable but I will not be ordering an entree here . I thought this restaurant was a very poor value for the quality and price. For the price it should have been made to order and served tender hot and tasty, it was not!!! so if you would like to call yourself a restaurant owner you should take pride in your product you are serving to the public and honestly it was not very good food to me, maybe good in a third world country? however in the USA, It Was a very poor value for...
