Pollo a la Brasa Pio's Chicken — Restaurant in Town of Rye

This had to be one of the most disgusting and low quality food I’ve ever ordered and that is no exaggeration. If you like your food seasoned then save your money because this place uses none, not a union or garlic in sight, no salt, not even pepper. The steak was so grey and dry it felt like I was eating an unseasoned flip flop, the spaghetti with pesto sauce I couldn’t even bring myself to swallow, never have I ever had pesto sauce be so bland, I’m literally in disbelief. The beans were ( you guessed it) bland, straight out the can and no seasoning added. The most simple thing I was able to swallow by drowning them in ketchup were the soggy bland fries. My husband had bland rice that he could not eat and soggy fried chicken that he managed to take a couple of bites from because we had been starving. Which btw we put in our order at 7pm and they delayed our food, it was on “prep” mode for over an hr, so we didn’t actually get our food till minutes to 9pm. With all that prep time I was expecting not only that the food would be good but exceed expectations considering we waited 2 hrs for it. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to a homeless person on the street because they would honestly...

HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had ordered on uber a lomo saltado and also a half chicken with rice and salad, the salad came FROZEN and the chicken came so overcooked and tasting like it was made from days ago, same thing with the rice and it was also really stale. The lomo saltado was completely worse, the meat taste like cardboard and had a texture of gum which means it’s probably been spoiled which is UNACCEPTABLE. We had called and the lady who had picked up the phone was inconsiderate and tried making excuses for why the food tasted so horrible and just kept saying “i will tell the owner ok bye. ok bye. ok. bye. “ and just rudely hung up the phone. I DO NOT recommend this place at all, as a peruana myself, i am so disappointed on how poorly this food was made and how poor the customer service is. around the corner is a buffet/deli called Melissa’s and although they aren’t peruvian their food is extremely amazing and at a lower value then what this place sells. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...

The food is very very good. We've been various times, however the service is terrible, the man behind the counter is very unfriendly, he just placed the menus on the table without even greeting us. We ordered water and didn't bring the water in a timely manner. He just stood there as I observed him to see what was taking him so long to bring us our drinks. He was waiting for the waitress to arrive to serve us our drinks. The restaurant was empty and took them forever to bring us our food. We've returned only because the food is great. But it may be the last time we come here. Don't come here if you're very hungry.
