Kings Chef — Restaurant in Town of Salina

This has to be the worst place I have been to in a while I wasn’t greeted with ahi how are you but some one who clearly could care less about me as I waited for my order I could see the woman in front of me order being prepared and noticed no gloves were being worn top that off her order of chicken was just old chicken that had beeb sitting out all day with no cover just tossed in the grease a second time to be re heated I quickly found out that was the same case as mine I bite into the chicken and all I could taste was the restaurants kitchen if that wasn’t bad enough it’s bone looked as if it was completely dried out I knew right then it had been sitting out for a few days even the orange peals in the orange chicken sauce was old it looked like it was sitting out all day and someone still decided to use it I could not eat the food I just left it...

I reviewed years ago because they are amazing and always have been and we order all the time.... until today!! There's been a different woman the past month or so, well today her rudeness turned us away for an undetermined amount of time. To tell a customer to hurry up and raise your tone on the phone because your distracted is unacceptable! Mid order today i got asked to hang on, when she came back I asked if she got the last item repeating the last item, she chose to raise her voice and tell me "ai got it, now hurry up!" That was when I was like oh no, nevermind and was done! For years of being a loyal customer this really made my blood boil. I've ordered fried tofu from here numerous times and have never had a problem. I ordered fried tofu yesterday and made sure to specify to please fry it. When the gentleman on the phone repeated my order to me he just said tofu, so once again I added, "please make sure the tofu is fried". Well, when my order finally arrived after being a half hour late, i received soggy steamed tofu that was barely warm. I didn't even care that my order was late. I had to spend 25 minutes re-frying the tofu. That was the most awful experience I have ever had ordering tofu from any chinese restaurant. The only reason I gave two stars was because King Chef has provided me with good service in the past. But that practically raw tofu is a huge deal...
