This is the worst pub I have ever been to. After we made our order, the waitress didn’t check on us for over 40 minutes. A couple near us noticed that we were left alone without any assistance for a long time, so the kind lady spoke to a man who was sitting at the bar, whom I assume was the owner/manager. After a while, another waitress came to us to ask what we wanted to order. We told her that we had already ordered more than 40 minutes before, and she was extremely rude in a way that I have never seen before. After around 20 more minutes she refilled our glasses and left without saying a word about the wait for our food. We tried to ask her something, but she left without giving us a chance to talk. After about 50 minutes, (I forgot to say this when we arrived, but the pub only had a handful of occupied tables), our waitress brought our food. She left everything on the table in a hurry and didn’t apologize for or even mention the long wait we had. The food wasn’t worth the wait at all! The burger was okay, but the appetizer was very bad, we left almost everything on the plate. Finally, our waitress brought us the check. Needless to say, that once again, she abandoned us and we had to pay up front. The worst part isn’t that she wasn’t busy at all, she talking to her colleagues at the front desk. I paid and once again received no apologies whatsoever. I’ve never experienced something like this anywhere, and I’ve traveled all around the world! The only peace I felt was when we...
Read morePart of a strip store front, coming from the wrong direction it's easy to miss.
The inside has a nice area of tables with a horseshoe bar in the middle; as well as an area to flex for darts, dancing, or a live band.
Sitting at the bar I received prompt service, able to receive a glass of beer from the 4 options on tap as quickly as I got a menu.
As far as prices go, I may be slightly out of touch with standards in the area, but I felt as though everything on the menu each cost about $2 more than they should.
I ended up ordering a pint off the tap ($6.50) their traditional wings in Buffalo sauce (12 for $14) and a side of fries with queso ($4 + $2.50).
The fries actually had a crisp quality that made me regret the queso they were drenched in, if it had been on the side I would have been happier as the queso was quite good. Certainly worth it.
The wings were fairly crisp, but nothing special. The sauce had a good flavor. There isn't much to say here, they were passable wings. If they'd cost a couple dollars less I'd have probably been more enthusiastic.
I'm still giving the location 4 stars because it's just got the right feel for a place to relax a bit after a long day. The other patrons were lively without being disruptive and added a nice ambience...
Read moreI hate having to write bad reviews for a local business as I debated on posting said review but I questioned myself to why hide a terrible experience. I've never been there for food before but really wanted wings.
1st thing, their website menu hasnt been updated so a dozen is $15 instead of $14. Okay, fine. 2nd thing, on the menu its listed as comes with blu cheese or ranch. When asked from the bartender, I said blu cheese. Was then charged an extra $.75 for the sauce. 3rd thing, not that I would've cared but an extra $2 for all flats. This I understand but it all adds up 4th thing, after all in all paid in cash and handed over a $20. I definitely sensed the bartender was not happy with not having a tip but I was caught off guard when she had said 19 something. This unhappiness from her was also noted when the food was given to me. 5th and final thing... Got home to 11 and not 12 in said dozen wing order. The wings were definitely overcooked and dry... so yay!
Yeah, I read the other reviews before posting this and well... I can't say my experience was a good one. I really wanted to like it but I hope this helps someone who isnt sure if they want wings at a bar that is trying to...
