Took 40 minutes to get our food. Wouldn’t recommend anything. We waiting 20 minutes to be seated and once we were seated, another 40 minutes to be served. Our coffee wasn’t refilled and the orange juice was overly concentrated and had horrible flavor otherwise. The French toast (pictured) looked unappetizing when it came out. Both the French toast and the pancakes were bland and very tough (difficult to cut and chew). The seasoning (just salt and pepper) and cookedness of the home fries were very inconsistent. Most were mushy while some were barely cooked, most were unseasoned while some were caked in salt and pepper. They were out of sausage patties at 10am. The bacon was decent though. We visit a lot of diners throughout the northeast and this one was definitely the worst for us. It seems like the owner put much more effort into the appearance of the place than the quality of the food.

Ample parking out back.Went here with friends for brunch. I ordered a tuna sandwich and the French Onion Gratinee crock of soup. My company ordered the basic breakfast and a BLT. My soup tasted like they used a chicken stock instead of beef. It had swiss cheese on the top and barley any onions. Maybe three in the whole crock of soup. Also the onions were not caramelized. The tuna sandwich was bland and didn't have enough mayo. The basic breakfast was good the eggs were cooked right . The BLT was on a cibata bread and had loads of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy. You could tell the bacon had been cooked ahead of time though. Then reheated or something. Also my friend said the orange juice tasted kinda funny.Overall it was ok.

The food, prices and welcoming atmosphere here was so good I had to share! I’m new to living in the Village so this was a sweet surprise. The bacon/onion/spinach quiche was rich and full of flavor (it’s the heavy cream mixed in.) The homemade Italian toast was sliced thick and served crisp. The fruit was cut fresh (not from a jar opened last week) and the coffee was hot from a newly-brewed pot and topped off several times while I ate. The price they charged for my breakfast was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received. Best of all; my server, Denise, couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. Thanks so much to Clover’s! Well done all around.

First the good...the pie is incredible. Whoever is making the pies, especially the cream pies, deserves an award. Breakfast is on point and what you would expect from a quality diner.

Now the not so good...the service is either stellar or downright terrible. Go for breakfast on Friday, quick greeting, quick seating, prompt service all around with two post food drop check backs. Just finished lunch on a Sunday and had the exact opposite experience in every way...there is literally nothing positive to say about the service I just received. The guacamole and chicken sandwich was lukewarm and the congealed cheese told me everything I needed to know about how long my food was dying in the window. Combine this with a French onion soup order that was dragging until the main order arrived. When I inquired about my soup I was told they burned the cheese...fair enough, but then my soup arrives and there isn't a brown spot anywhere on the cheese...just an oil slick on top of lily white swiss. Really disappointed all around.

Whoever manages the front of the house needs to establish sections and teach waitstaff the importance of touching tables and maintaining communication with the back of the house to drive hot food to...

The Clover Diner is located in a sweet little village we stopped for a few hours in our travels. Asked a local for a lunch spot recommendation. She suggested the Clover Diner. It was a very cute/clean place. We just wanted sandwiches/drink to go and sit in the nearby park at lake. The girl who took our order was obviously new and verrrry sweet but took forever to take our order and must've read it back a couple of times. Welllll....we ordered grilled cheese w/bacon and tomato (extra 3.90)and only got tomato...no bacon!!!...and one stinking piece of cheese...a joke! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich....should've been called mayo salad....there was, at best, 5 miniscule pieces of chicken!!! The bread was good. Both sandwiches came with French fries which were just okay. The to-go cups for the drinks are pathetically organic and nearly crumbled before we finished our drinks. I'm all for saving the planet, but there has to be a better solution you could consider. Sooooo we were greatly disappointed to spend $28 bucks on lunch that was a mess..maybe just a bad day...

We were sat immediately, but it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order, and we also gave our food order at the same time. It took roughly another 10 mins to get our drinks, the food came over 45 minutes later and it was cold on some of our plates when it arrived - and to be frank, it wasn’t really worth the wait. The whole time, I had 1 coffee refill, and no one asked my family if they needed anything. I had to request eating utensils because we were never given any. I asked for creamer that never came until the end. My husband sat with an empty iced tea glass the entire time after finishing his drink while we waited for food. Meanwhile- we watched people come in after us receive prompt service. The only thing that came quickly to our table was the check - and someone had to find our server to cash us out. Never have I ever, even at a busy restaurant, had such a poor experience. We will not...
