Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I try not to go to fast food places often, but OMG! ..Forget Wendy's or even Sonic! This DQ has me hooked! They make the most Amazing hamburgers!! They look just like the burgers I would make at home. And if you order the deluxe, it is just awesomely filled to the hilt! I don't always have fresh tomatoes, onions, slices of cheese, lettuce, yummy pickles & mayo, etc. in the house. (and oftentimes- I Don't feel like breaking out the BBQ & cooking)!! Every time we go there, I have an Awesome hamburger. ... It is a difficult decision though.. because their Honey BBQ boneless chicken strips are just SO GOOD, too. Tough decision, the cheeseburger always wins.. Also the chicken strips are FAR Better and far Less $$ than Miller's Ale House. You get so much more chicken, covered in sauce (if That's what you want) & it's about a third of the price of Millers in Lake Grove 😬 Today I ordered from a young man who has been with DQ for over 3 years. You would have thought he was the owner. He was Very enthusiastic, he knows every single thing by heart! That's the kind of person/employee that you want to keep and take Good care of. He is also a very nice person. Thanks for the excellent service and for the "better than normal"...

worst customer service ever. i placed a duplicate order on their app and once i arrived to the place, they forced the second order on me telling me that if i wanted the refund for the second order to call corporate. all the while knowing corporate cant do anything and that the refund would eventually have to be processed at that store. the store manager called me today and was so rude. wouldnt let me explain what happened with the order and was insistent on not giving me a refund.

edit: manager claims that my brother accepted that we needed the duplicate order but this never happened. my brother asked nicely twice to take back the food and your manager on site told him that corporate has the money and they cannot process the refund. they forced the food on him knowing he’s too timid to refuse it a 3rd time. i find it highly unprofessional to lie on a 16 year old boy over a $39 meal. i guess the pandemic made these people desperate for money, valuing the dollar over customer service. and...

This place went down hill . ZERO STARS dirty . People working there not friendly . It was not busy...We were ordering our food tried making two separate orders the cashier rang up one as we were talking she then walked away.she seems annoyed the whole time. She never gave us our receipt. So we didn't end up getting our second order. We asked to speak to a manager. She never came to us. Instead some guy spoke to us. The manager ended up being the women who actually rang us up he told us. He asked her to give us the receipt so she did but she didn't even say sorry or even look at me.The other person then said it's her first week as manager. He also said maybe she didn't understand you. Either way she should not have walked away . You ask to repeat. We will never go to this DQ again and will for sure...
