We went to La Goulue in Southampton last night and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We waited forever just for our waiter to show up and take our order — and when the food finally came, it was cold, flavorless, and honestly gross. Easily one of the worst meals I’ve had in the Hamptons & in my life!
The service was beyond unacceptable. Our waiter was nowhere to be found half the night, disappearing constantly. I actually had to get up and go to the bar myself just to get a drink — and the staff didn’t seem to care at all. The whole operation felt completely disorganized and chaotic, like no one knew what they were doing.
On top of it all, the waiter was rude, unprofessional, and seemed bothered to be there. For the price point, this place is a joke. There’s no excuse for service and food this bad.

I was pleasantly surprised last night when we went to dinner at La Goulue. This is now my favorite restaurant in Southampton. Sitting outside at sunset (in SH), attentive waiter and staff, the taste and quality of the food make the place great. Tuna tartar, Scallops and the filet were all over the top. Pretty sure you need a reservation as it seemed quite popular. We had one. Again, Best Restaurant in Southampton!
