Sakura is one of the best—if not the best—Japanese restaurants in North Rockland. They offer a great variety of Japanese favorites, as well as some unique options like special rolls with names that reflect the local community. I am a fan of everything they make and especially their sushi rolls, which they will customize to your preferences (for example, with or without crunch, tobiko, etc.) The service is fast and friendly, and they will remember your name and even your drink order if you are a repeat customer. I originally rated Sakura 5 stars. Honestly, they have amazing food. However, the way I was treated tonight was deplorable. For starters, I dropped my chopstick and the waitress made a disgruntled noise and a face before giving me a new one. She then accidently poured water in my sprite, then charged me for a new one. After we ate, my two friends and I had separate checks but put the tip on two of them, which was about 20% for all 3 meals. She followed me out to my car to tell me that I didn't give her any money.
