Really wanted to like this place, and the food we ate did taste very good (thus the 2 stars instead of 1). The atmosphere is nice. HOWEVER I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but it definitely soured our opinion of the quality. I ordered the pork chimichanga and my husband got the Santa Fe burrito. When we got our food he took a bite of his burrito (filled with chicken and Chipotle sauce) and immediately said it tasted off. He took another bite of just the chicken and spit it out. He said it tasted spoiled or bad, so I tried a bite and it definitely did not taste right. So I tried my food to see how it was and the shredded pork tasted very good despite the several large chunks of fat. We let the waitress know the chicken was bad and she went back to the kitchen for a min, then came back and told us theres nothing wrong with the chicken, it was probably our taste buds due to the Chipotle sauce.... It was definitely not our taste buds and we love the flavor of Chipotle hence why we ordered it but whatever so he had them bring another burrito filled with just rice/beans to be safe. They brought that out with a sample of their Chipotle sauce that confirmed our opinion that it was not the culprit with the bad chicken (he ended up having stomach issues that evening....)We enjoyed the rest of our food until halfway thru his food he bit into a piece of METAL in his food!!(see picture). We told the waitress yet again about this issue and her statement was "why does this keep happening??" Wow so she took the piece back to the kitchen to show them. They did end up comping that one meal however I don't know that we'll return or recommend this place to others unfortunately. Hopefully the kitchen can figure out their issues and give the new restaurant a...
Read moreWent here tonight with my husband and I can say we will NEVER be returning to this establishment again. This was our first time trying Coronas in Brockport since we were referred by a friend and we wanted to love it being how close it is to us. My order was messed up, which happens - everyone is human. I asked the waitress if my burrito had sausage in it and pointed at what I was referring to and she said no. I said okay, then what is this? She says, “it’s pork”. I nicely asked for a new burrito to be made since I asked twice when placing my order to not have any sausage on it (just chicken). I also asked to have the side of beans replaced with rice and was told “ok” and that was forgotten. In the meantime my husband finishes his dinner while I wait for mine. The waitress comes back and drops my food off and doesn’t say a word to us. I get to the point where I finish my meal and not once we’re we asked about refills/another round of corona for my husband. My husband had to ask for the check because it seemed like our waitress was avoiding us. Once we get the check we were charged for the rice that was suppose to be substituted. Not to mention we found a HAIR in our salsa that we didn’t even bring up… The service was probably the WORST I’ve experienced in my life. $55 spent on a terrible experience and the manager barely wanted to comp the rice. All I can say is steer clear of this place and I’m not one for posting reviews. If you want to go to a Mexican restaurant with great customer service just drive out to Rancho Veijo in Gates - you will not be...
Read morePat entry there was nobody to greet. I had to wait for somebody to come out of the back room to seat me. I was placed the first booth to the right the worst seat in the house as there's no support in either of the seats it was like sitting in a hole. I moved to a table nearby. The server then came eventually, it took a while to place my order. There were three other booths seated, and a table of three seated. After I placed my order, I saw some food coming out of the kitchen, and I thought it would be mine. Oh no. It went to one of the other booths. More food came out of the back and more booths in the seed people were served, meanwhile, a table of six came in and sat down. Then my food came out and then their food came out. There was some kind of a delay in the kitchen that caused the delay in service. Maybe the Cook was at lunch during lunch hour.? I ordered fajitas from the lunch menu which was listed at $12. My bill came in it reflected $14. I questioned the additional two hours and was told because I ordered chicken and steak mixed and that essentially it was two orders of meat. Well, I could honestly tell you I did not have extra meat . I rated the atmosphere is being low because the music was slightly annoyingly high, loud and because the seating was poor. The server never explained there was a two dollar up charge for mixed meat. I am glad to tip well when I have good service. I did not receive good service here and I did not tip well....
