Hoagie Hounds — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

I was happy to see somebody opened up a new pizza in the neighborhood.

I have ordered a few pizzas, some wings, and a sub from them.

The food is pretty solid. Pizza is a good size, with a nice sauce to cheese ratio. The sauce is sweeter which I like. The crust has a nice flavor. I asked for a longer bake to give it some crisp, it was perfect and not burnt.

Wings were flavorful and saucy, with a little crisp to them.

The sub was tasty and hearty. I can usually down a whole sub, but this one definitely has enough to be lunch the next day.

The staff seems very friendly.

This may be my new default pizza place. Also they have their own online ordering, that is a plus in my book.

Hoagie Hounds is pretty much my go to pizza place now.

The food is good and consistent. It is usually prepared in a timely manner within 30 minutes. The online ordering is very convenient. The staff is extremely friendly, and the owner (I assume) seems to genuinely enjoy his job and food.

I had their chicken parm sub a few weeks ago, it was the best I had in forever. It had lots of flavor and sweeter sauce (which I like). And we ordered the taco pizza last night,...

Tried this new place out. Service inside was fantastic, cheery and friendly service counter representative took my order. I ordered two Cane Corso Carnivore 12” Hoagies. Basically a steak hoagie with everything. One cheesy garlic bread (well worth the price of $8.99) and one large fry that I split between my son and I. No way did either one of us finish the meal in one sitting. I had leftovers for 3 days. I have had better fries to be honest , they were a little dry. Vinegar would have been a nice compliment but included Heinz catsup packages. The hoagies were good but were hard to manage because of the size. I ate what I could with a fork and wrapped the rest for another meal or two. My son finished off a half hoagie and actually said he was full which I never hear from him. I signed up with the rewards and will be back to order more takeout. There is no room at the establishment for eat in dining. They text you when the order is ready. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE unless you want a wet sub/burger or pizza that has sat out all day with flys touching it! It’s pretty sad that when I called about my food the owner admitted that the crusty old burnt slice of pizza for my toddler was sitting out from 8 hours ago! Also the reason why I’m writing this is because I purchased two mountain dews bottles when I ordered from the website….i sent my fiancé to pick up the food and the owner didn’t give us our drinks. So when I called I mentioned how he forgot the drinks, he said he would refund me for my drinks and it’s been almost 2 weeks and I never received my money back! Also I think it’s crazy he didn’t want to refund me back for this old disgusting pizza as well and my burger bun was so wet I couldn’t even eat it clearly you can see in this picture the food is disgusting and they will rob your money if you forget your drinks! I will make sure to tell every single one of my clients...
