Joe's Panini Grill — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

First visit to this quaint local grill, was not disappointed. Owner Joe was friendly and told us that all sandwiches were made to order, not premade, therefore if we were interested in a chicken wrap or sandwich it would just take a little longer because it is cooked when ordered. My friends and I liked the fact that everything was freshly made. I had the "Blond Bombshell Panini" and it was excellent, bread was toasted to perfection and I loved the honey mustard. My two friends both had a wrap of some sort and thoroughly enjoyed them saying that they were so tasty and they loved how the spinach wrap was just lightly toasted giving it the perfect crunch. This is not a fancy place but it is a great local grill with great food at great prices. The waitress Lynn was super nice and attentive. We will definitely try this place again for lunch. Decided to stop here with my daughter sunce we were coming back from Childrens hospital. Wow, im impressed. The sandwiches were amazing. I got the sausage and my daughter had the meatball. Even more impressive is the staff. The lady that took my order was very nice, but then i got to talk to Joe as well. What a nice, down to earth, hard working, normal guy. He personally made sure we liked our food, and I even had a nice chat with him. Its extremely rare ro have an owner interact with his customers like that. I only wish i didnt live 40 minutes away, id eat there all the time....

This place is the Town's new hidden gem! Food is outstanding, prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are great. They've done a very clever job with the interior of the place, it's comfortable and welcoming. It's amazing what they've done with that back corner, I've lived in that neighborhood my whole life, and I was so pleased to see something with actual substance move in. Give this place a try.
