Im sorry I hardly ever leave a review and never leave a bad one but just want to give people a heads up..tip one if you get out of car in parking lot and don't see or smell the smoker or pit..well..get bk in the car..if you do go inside at 7pm and see very few people in the sitting area of the restaurant .. but a bunch at the bar...probably means the beer is cold ..seriously I read some reviews ..some good some not so much before we went in to try it...the 5 star review people must not have had good bbq in their lives before..sad... and I should have paid more attention to the review from the fella that said he knows bbq and this isn't it..He was right....But I like to try new places and spent over $100 here for my daughter n myself ..and sad to say ..not even close to being ok... where's the working smoker..the one out front is for show to catch your attention because that hasn't seen fire in my lifetime probably and the brisket was not cooked on a smoker..no way..and of the 5 pieces on my plate two were literally completely sliced fat section of the point. ..cook in a oven. Come on. You have to be better than this..really..the ribs weren't much better n the sauces Better work on those too..Our waiter was decent but he knew better when he came back to.. Not ask how it was ..hes probably heard crap before im sure...I do want to compliment the wings though they were excellent the Bama white sauce and the bbq wings both..if id have known id have ordered a few more orders of those n forget the rest of the garbage..if you advertise that its a smoked bbq we'll you better find some smoke ..if you wanta fix the issues do so don't just respond to the one star clowns like me n say we should have talked to the manager ..wouldn't have worked but I gave yr place a try just disappointed in this "not bbq" and the fact that I had to leave this lengthy review..sorry...

We had the pulled pork, bbq chicken and rib platter with twice baked potatoes and sweet potatoes fries. The pulled pork and ribs were fantastic...the chicken was a little dry, the sweet potato fries were awesome and the twice baked potato my husband loved. Then my husband had a caramel apple pie cheesecake which was very good and I had the special brownie cheesecake with caramel and it was absolutely delicious! I had water with lemon and my husband had a ice tea. Everything was very good and we will be back and the bill was like $57.00 . It's a place you must try. We had the dry 3 meat platter and you will love it ..you taste the meat that's tender and not drowning in sauces or seasonings... really good!....... January 10, 2023. We went back for the second time and met one of the owners and mentioned to him we came the other day and loved the food, so we came back today for a late lunch. People who work there are very friendly and the food again was awesome. Ribs, pulled pork and the brisket was fabulous with the dry rub. It's nice a place can have bbq that you actually taste the meat and then the seasoning. Very good place to eat. It's a 50 minute drive...but well worth it. ..FOOD & FIRE has the best BBQ there you get juicy cuts of tender meat and with a dry rub which is very good but you taste the meat along with the rub and the rub doesn't overpower the meat. We will be back! Thank you, Susie. Ok went back for the third time ....and it's still THE BEST BBQ we have ever ate. The ribs are meaty, and so tender, so the brisket was also delicious and tender, my husband loves the pulled pork it's tender and juicy really good and just enough dry rub to give flavor but still taste the meat! My fiancé and I had been wanting to come here for awhile, and our first visit was a disappointment. The host seemed over the beginning of his shift and sat us at a table and just walked away before we could even ask to have a booth instead so we moved ourselves. Cornbread served cold and dry and my fiance noticed the plate was dirty when she brought it out. Then when we got our meat platter our noticed our food came out cold. Barely warm. The food here is very dry. The other reviews are right, luckily they have sauces on the table to coat it to make it edible but still.. food seemed like it was sitting in a window for awhile getting cold. We got the mac and cheese side and it was dry and most of the meat on the platter was dried out seemed like it was sitting out. Due to our food being so dry we drank up all our beverages and never asked for a refill till we were ready to pay and leave. When our server dropped off our food she never asked if we wanted anything else or came to check up on us to see how everything was till we were done ready to box up leftovers. We sat for awhile so I expected her to come back but I didn’t even see her return to the dining room after dropping off our food. At that point we were over it. I serve tables and it seems like you guys need to retrain your staff. It wasn’t that busy for her to not come back. Additionally when serving messy entrees you should bring extra napkins. Just a nice touch. Honestly, will probably not be returning it’s a shame because I see a lot of potential. My fiancé and I agreed we will be sticking to other...
