Tai Fu — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

I walked into the restaurant and was surprised to be greeted by very young children—none of whom seemed older than 10. They took my order, which was quite simple: three sushi rolls. I sat down and waited, but it ended up taking over 40 minutes for the food to be prepared.

I understand that they’re a popular spot and may have been busy, but not once did anyone acknowledge or apologize for the long wait. Meanwhile, the kids who took my order were off playing video games, and the adults were in the back having lunch. I was absolutely starving, and the lack of communication or basic customer service made the experience worse.

By the time I got my food, I was so lightheaded from not eating all day that I had to sit in the parking lot for another 15 minutes before I felt okay to drive. In total, it took 55 minutes just to pick up a simple lunch.

It is a great family run restaurant. They do what they need to in order to provide you with some good tasting chinese takout. Much higher quality than the majority of places in orange county. The entire family does their best to get your order done right, and as fast as possible. The prices are respectable, as I understand that given everyone’s current circumstances, nothing is cheap anymore. Let alone, they have to make a living off of what we as customers pay them. Your typical Chinese restaurant. clutter. Homework being done. Workers in the back eating "healthier" version of food. Be clear I don't mean it in a bad way I actually missed this from old hood growing up. Got the works Chicken wings pork fried rice egg roll shrimp roll both nice and crispy. Food was pretty good.
