First off, there were two good things about this room (213), the water pressure was good in the shower and it was hot, and the second was that the mini fridge stayed cold. One good thing about the hotel grounds, they had plenty of parking.
The room was originally only supposed to be $162 with all taxes and fees included, but when I checked out, the price had went up to $176.96. The breakfast consisted of granola bars and yoplait yogurt cups. Our AC in the room only slightly worked, we kept it on in the room for 4 hours and it made the room a little less humid. All night long the AC Unit made fire engine siren sounds, it was loud and very obnoxious. There was a very big gap under the door, so you heard everything that was going on in the hallway. The carpet was dirty and dingy, there was what appeared to be blood or stool on the bathroom door, that smeared when we touched it with a tissue. The beds were old, and not very comfortable, one of the beds near the window was more comfortable but the one by the wall felt like the springs were coming up through it. The sheets did appear to be clean though which I was surprised about. There was no elevator (not handicap accessible), and I didnāt feel like I was very safe and secure in my room. However, I felt like I would of been safer in my car. I know itās a super 8, and I shouldnāt of expected anything amazing. But it just feels like with the amount of money I paid, we should of at least gotten some fresh fruit, it should of been clean, and goshā¦.I should of felt safe in my room. I am going to ask for a refund or a discount, but the manager was not there when I was checking out. I will update my review based on how my experience goes with that. Update: called the hotel twice and was not able to talk to anyone. I did receive a call a couple weeks afterwards but did not recognize the number, i did not answer, but they also didnāt leave a voicemail. Issues are still...

Day 1 of 28: Welcome to the Super 8 Survival Chronicles
First impressions? Itās like walking into a YMCA locker room that gave up on life. The smell? Chefās kissāold coffee, sweat, and a faint hint of despair, like an AA meeting but without the emotional breakthroughs. The room? Tiny. The beds? Smaller. The walls? Probably dead.
Day 2 of 28: The Descent into Madness
Alright, itās officialāthis place isnāt a hotel. Itās a social experiment. The room was so cold last night I had to drop extra cash on blankets and pillows because the ones they provide are thin enough to see through. And let me be clear: this room is not handicap accessible. Itās barely human accessible. Stained towels, zero amenities (no toothbrush or toothpaste), and the space is so small Iām convinced I could touch all four walls at once if I tried.
The key cards? Oh, they stop working every five minutes, and instead of fixing the issue, the staff straight-up blamed me. They hit me with the āyou need to be more responsibleā line like Iām some rebellious teenager. Let it happen one more time, and I swear Iām going full Hulk mode.
Also, cigarettes. Everywhere. Disposed of in every possible crevice, like the previous guests were running a scavenger hunt for nicotine addicts. Outside? Forget itāthereās nowhere to sit if you want to smoke. Youāre just left to loiter awkwardly, contemplating life and your terrible choices.
Letās talk about the TV remote. Oh wait, it doesnāt work, so thereās nothing to talk about. The whole place feels like a low-budget horror movie set. Itās giving me serious Middletown Motel on the Hill vibesāthe kind of place you warn people about in ghost stories.
Bottom line: donāt touch this place with a meter stick, a pole, or even good intentions. Itās not worth it. Two days in, and Iām already questioning my will to live. Pray for meāI still have 26 more days of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had to stay here for a little over a month due to housing issues. Never have I ran into so much trouble with these people. The morning staff are mean, nasty and rude. The general manager Kim is absolutely rude and nasty. I had a problem with a roach in the first room i stayed in. Night staff was helpful and allowes me to switch rooms. Grabbed my dog, went to that room even tho it was not a pet room. Stayed there for a night and in the morning i told the morning staff what happened. I get nastily told by kim that there were no rooms available. I had walked down the halways where the petrooms were and the one room i stayed in before (not the roach room) was empty. The door was wide open. So i told kim very nicely. She nastily told me "oh well its still not available ill call you to let you know when it is." ..... i head back to the non pet room and take a nap.
I never got a call so i took my dog out to potty. Came back and was about to ask nicely and ridely again i get told "I TOLD YOU ID LET YOU KNOW" .... that sent me into a panick attack when i went back to the other room. Finally after 25 monutes she knocks and hands me the key.
I get that managing a hotel is and can be stressful. Bit you dont need to take it out on patrons.
I wouldnt stay here longer than i have if not for a few days. Not even. Day staff are horrible at communicating with others, are not hospitaple and rude. Hotel is dingy and musty. Rooms are barely cleaned and there is no breakfast. Only coffee.
Some rooms have holes in the walls, cockroaches and bedbugs. Again DO NOT STAY HERE. Oh, if you stay linger day staff will try to up the prices on the room.
If i were anyone i would stay in the La Quinta or the Residence Inn. A little more pricey but better than this dump I just...
