Edit as of 7/18/24: As per my last post, I decided to give this restaurant another try. Walked in around 8:15 and was seated promptly. Myself and the guy I came with were given menus and water glasses. Within three minutes we were asked for our orders, and of course we weren’t ready yet so we asked for more time. We decided on our order and he asked for a gluten free bun, as he is gluten INTOLERANT. Our orders came out about 15 minutes later and his bun didn’t appear to be gluten free. We asked again if the bun was gluten free and the server said that it wasn’t. He had clearly mentioned he had to have a gluten free bun and the server asked if he was allergic… that’s why he asked for a GF bun in the first place… no one would ask for a GF Bun at $4 extra for no reason. Server asked if he’d like it remade and he said yes. Approximately 1 minute later the burger comes out with a new bun… way too little time for an entirely new burger to have been remade. The buns were just switched, and a new burger wasn’t made. We ate our meal and were asked several times before we were halfway done if we needed a to go box. By the end of the evening my friend was feeling sick from the cross contamination of the burger bun. All of this is to say, please listen when someone has a legitimate food allergy. Cutting corners isn’t going to help you in the long run. definitely won’t be back for a third chance after this. If you have a food allergy, do yourself a favor and go to a restaurant that actually takes it into consideration.
Food is good. I had placed an order at 6:30 to leave enough time for pickup. Was waiting for my confirmation and never got it. Tried to call and no one picked up. So I walked to the restaurant to see if my order was ready and they “didn’t see it”. So they offered to put it in an hour after it was supposed to be ready. No offer of a discount or comp. It’s really unfortunate that just because they didn’t check their online ordering history I lost out on an hour and a half of time when I could’ve...
Read moreMy wife and I went at around 1600, on a Saturday, to avoid the crowds. We always had positive experiences in the past, but this place seemed to have new ownership. The wait for the table was quite reasonable, but once we sat down at the bar, we waited quite a while even to get menus. The bartender would apologize but immediately follow with excuses. Knowing it was busy, we were patient. We tried to establish a rapport with the bartender, and she was friendly if overwhelmed. The drinks were good and the appetizer was good. The trouble began when we ordered our entrees (sandwiches to be exact). We waited 50 minutes for our sandwiches, while we ordered a second round. When the group next to us, whom sat 10 minutes after we placed our orders, received their appetizers, we decided to ask the bartender to check for our food. A few minutes later, the host (and manager? ) came over and apologized and TOLD us to be patient. When I explained they had until we finished our drinks before we'd all to cancel our order, the host immediately spoke over me to say please keep my voice down (my voice was down for the volume of the restaurant) and that there was children around (there was not). (In the owner's response, he said I stood up in a threatening manner, but I was already standing for ~5 minutes before he walked over since I was uncomfortable from sitting for so long) As I was about to get upset, I turned to the bartender and asked for the check. The host quickly said to the bartender "don't worry about it!", so my wife and I walked out. Never have I been treated so poorly for the faults of the restaurants service and poor kitchen timing. We always loved the food here, and always had good service, but that is the last time we step foot in there for the foreseeable future. In the owner's response, he said he was happy to see us go. Labor shortage or no, failing to make things right and shifting the blame to the customer is no way to do business, especially after making customers wait for almost an hour for...
Read moreAfter a long Sunday of Apple picking and sitting in traffic my girlfriend and i decided to stop at Eddie's for a bite to eat. So we walked up to the front and put our name in, we were asked if we wanted a table or to sit by the bar ( my girlfriend is not 21 yet so I figured she wouldn't be able to sit at the bar) so I told the guy we would like a table. He proceeded to tell me it's about a 20-30 minute wait, im completely fine with that so we proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait about an hour later I asked how much longer and he said "you guys are next, very soon hangout" okay well another 30 minutes passed, 30 MINUTES. We were supposed to wait 30 minutes from the start so as we decided to leave and go else where we got a call saying "would you still like that TABLE" so we gave it a shot. Well we ended up going there and he told us with attitude to sit at the BAR. So youre telling me, I waited an hour and a half to sit where I didn't even want to sit while there were plenty of open tables for two people. After ordering the expensive food we realized it was definitely NOT worth the hour and a half wait, it was a nice little place to stop and get a beer but not to go sit down and eat for a quick meal. Very...
