Sammy's Pizza Restaurant & Pub — Restaurant in Town of Washington

Worst place I have been so far, overheard a past employee talking about how the owner doesn't care about his employees and I can see why he would say it. Went in for a pepperoni and sausage with extra cheese. Didn't see any extra cheese at all and the sausage balls were smaller than a dime. The server barely talked to us and when we asked a question she looked at us like we were dumb and rolled her eyes. Maybe pay your good employees better and get rid of the ones that just stand around and roll their eyes at your customers. Won't be back until things change.

(Edit due to owner responding)You can't say the topping get embedded into the topping when you ask for extra cheese and you can see the sauce through the cheese. How to the sausage get lost when u put them on top and the size of a dime. Waste of time and we won't be back anytime soon. Hopefully you fire your server. Fiancé’s birthday, we were very excited to try the pizza for the first time. Walked in and every customer seemed happy. When we sat down server came over and asked us immediately if we knew what we wanted three times right away and rushed us through our order after getting water.

She did have a big table and we understood so we were very patient until she gave us attitude and was very annoyed. Understood it might’ve been a bad night already from how busy it was and were willing to wait a while and give her more chances.

Gave her another chance until she didn’t check on us the entire time, no refills or check ins even after walking past us more than once, only asked us if we needed anything after we were done with our food but by then we already wanted to leave. Wouldn’t recommend Brittany (our server) but would recommend the server with the purple hair, she seemed nice...

The pizza is 5 stars absolutely fantastic. If you like chewy cheese that really has texture and bite. You know that cheese is quality and 100 percent real. The sauce is full of flavor. The crust is thin and crisp, also slightly chewy, the texture is divine. The pizza has just the right amount of authentic rich food grease. It's just satisfyingly excellent. The customer service is extremely lackluster, apathetic and bordering on downright rude. I cannot in good conscience give them five stars due to that unfortunately.
