Decent food. I love taking advantage of the hibachi and have my white rice fried for me right in front of me. However, 9 times out of 10, during dinner, the rice cooker has never been replenished so the rice is hard and dry from sitting all day. If you arrive around 6:30pm or later, they seem to be extremely alow on replenishing food. Some times we would leave prior to them restocking items we had waited 45 minutes or more for. The people are pleasant. However, the last time I visites, the young lady who waited on us went to get us refills snd whwn she came bsck, set our cups down and said she didn't know whose was whose and laughed. We all sat there, mouths hanging open, in disbelief. How unsanitary. If you genuinely have forgotten whose glass is whose at a 4 person table, then bring all 4 of us new glasses and say why. We wouldn't have cared. If anything, we would appreciate the new glasses snd handling the situation appropriately. I frequent this restaurant on average once a week, mostly afternoons. The price for dinner is too much. It seems to vary every time I go, too. The price is never the same. I don't think they have a set price. They don't even have a price listed any where's in the restaurant. Not behind the counter, no wherea. So that leads me to assume they come up with these prices off the tops of their heads. So bottom line: food is good (when replenished and fresh) people are good when they don't try and give you someone else's dirty glass and I will continue to go there despite all the bad things because I freaking love Chinese...
Read moreMy wife came here for lunch today with our boys. She said it was very good everything going well until the bill came, she put money down and had a few dirty plates but some food left to the side she was going to eat after bringing our boys up for ice cream. They come back to their seat and their seat was completely cleared off and now the table was soaking wet along with their seats. She then had to find the waitress because our boys were upset there drinks and napkins were gone and on top of that she needed our cash change ( which mind you was $19!!!!) the fact they thought she would tip $19 at a buffet is insane. She got the boys drinks and the change back but got a side eye when she asked for new fortune cookies for them all ( they were taken when the table was cleared) she definitely felt very rushed at the end of her meal. We understand it was about to be dinner time but it was 30 mins from so there was no reason for them to clear off the table to fast when you could easily look around and see she was getting her kids ice cream and obviously not leaving a $19 tip. But I guess common sense doesn't come naturally anymore...
Read moreI visited yesterday for lunch and there were some BIG red flags in food temp (food on the buffet was only JUST above room temp) The food quality was inconsistent as some of the dishes tasted reused or like they’d been made the day prior while others were fresh and quickly replenished by chefs. Unfortunately, there were flies hanging around the salad bar.
All things fried are usually safe to consume so I stuck to those, they were tasty. I wouldn’t touch the sushi, no one else did either. Some of it is raw fish and/or contains dairy and it’s not near cold or fresh enough to avoid stomach upset.
The ice cream IS frozen and maybe delicious, however the scoop is, unfortunately, dangerously corroded. It sits in recycled water but is degraded to the point that the corroded metal flakes off as you go to self-serve the ice cream.
It’s a nice family business and we understand that businesses operate for profit but I think, for the safety of the public, they need some serious food...
