Tony Harper's Pizza & Clam Shack — Restaurant in Town of Webb

We have been going to Tony Harpers for years, and years...multiple times throughout the spring, summer, fall, and on rare occasions winter seasons. We always highly recommend it to friends traveling in the area. Tonight however we were very, very disappointed...we came up with several friends that have never been to Tony Harper's...after hearing us rave about it for two days, we all went there for dinner tonight, 15 of us, and except for the two of us, none of them had been there before. As we walked in it was busy, but that was expected. We found seating and needed an extra chair and borrowed one from the several empty chairs at the bar, only to be yelled at, not even the least bit politely by a staff member that we couldn't use the chair, and even after explaining that we had 15 people, was told that our remaining person could stand....He could stand! Instead, your staff member could've helped us with seating, and it would have been most appreciated, as we also had some young kids in our party as well. While waiting to get situated, I went the mens room and my significant other to the ladies room...both bathrooms were absolutely trashed, towels all over the floor, around the toilet, in the sink, everywhere...soap bottle on the floor next to the toilet, and it looked like someone had peed all over the bathroom, and it smelled to high heaven! Completely unsanitary, probably warranting a call to the county health department...was absolutely disgusting! From what I understand the ladies room wasn't in much better shape. After we came out we as a group simply had enough and decided to leave and eat elsewhere. This is easily the only time in more than 10 years we have eaten elsewhere when visiting, as we ALWAYS eat at Tony Harper's, and we apologized profusely to our friends after giving such high praise to your establishment. This was easily a $600 - $800 (likely more with drinks) possible bill, with certainly a very generous tip on top, as we are very good tippers. However, after tonight I'm sad to say that this was probably the last time we will set foot in there...I guess it's true what they say...all good things must come to an end. Very...

me and my family went to this place yesterday on the fourth of July and did not receive good service from the bartender 1 male and 1 female or some of there patrons. Me and my family was leaving for water safari and decided to stop there to get there wings I AM A AFRICAN AMERICAN and I stood in line waiting for help and they ( lady bartender) looked right passed me like a i was see through but as soon as a WHITE patron walks up the lady goes " Hey there how can I help you" mean while I was standing in line before this lady. Then I ask a " Karen" where was take out to order being that I feel not welcomed here any how she goes cant you read the sign in the back it clearly says take out !! WELLL excuse me ! It does say take out but it also says ROOF TOP Bar So I thought it was for a different restaurant. I'm so glad my kids didn't witness the out right RACSIM that these 2 employees displayed ! I wish I got there names but I was so mad I just wanted to get out of that place. oh and the the way the chicken we ordered was disgusting and rushed and we only received 18 wings and it was supposed to be 20. if you are African American highly recommended to keep driving because we are not welcomed there especially on 4th of July !!!!

To reply to the owner response - karen is a figure of speech- they lady stood at the podium who does work there is who I referred to as a “karen” ! And to reply to the bartender even if she thought i was waiting for someone she could of said hey do u need any thing ? And i was not standing far at all i stood right at the counter and was leaning on that . But okay i guess . We just would never come back again! Customer service was not good and instead of taken responsibility as a business your basically telling me what ever your employees say obviously is the “truth” ! What happened to the customer real TRUTH !! Have a good...

Absolutely terrible service will never go back. Went on 9/6 around 5 pm. There was a large group of us that ended up sitting at 4 different tables throughout the restaurant. Every one had a horrible experience. We were originally told that the kitchen was backed up and there was about a 40 minute wait which we had no problem with. We ordered immediately to get our food in. After over an hour of waiting we kindly asked the server if there was an update to which she immediately had an attitude about it and said she already told us the kitchen was backed up. We said we know that but you told us about 40 minutes and she goes well I don’t know how long it will take and walked away. After about an hour and a half one singular pizza came out to the table. It took 25 minutes for any other food to come out which was plate by plate. 2 of the orders that were brought out were wrong and the appetizers were the last thing to be brought out after the entrees. Every single one of the tables had the same issues. Multiple tables that had different staff serving them stated they were very rude as well. We did not receive all of our food that was ordered by 5:30 until after 8:00. One of the tables waited for almost three hours for a cheese pizza to which the resultant refused to refund and was extremely rude about. The staff is clearly completely incompetent at their jobs and are very rude. They refuse to apologize or make things right by taking it off your check. Save your time and frustration and go to one of the other restaurants...
