My family and I went to water Safari on Friday, July 5. Afterwards, we decide to get some dinner, We went to a couple places before Slickers and most of them had a long wait time. However we went to slickers and put our name down for about a 40 minute wait. they said that they will call us when they have the table ready for us. After about 45 minutes go by we still have not received a call so we decide to go back into slickers and verify that weāre still on the waitlist. The hostess comes out and tells us that they actually gave our table away to two different parties after us and that they donāt have a table for us and will not have a table for a while. Mind you, we also had very small children at this point we were very upset and told them that this was very bad business. This is when the manager came out and said what was the problem. We explained it to him, he apologize for the hostess giving away our table. He sat half of us at a bar area and other half at a table where we ordered our drinks and we had to wait for another table to open up and we probably sat at this table around 815 to 8:20 PM. The manager and server were very attentive at this time to us, but after that is when I got even more downhill. We understand that it was busy however the service was very slow. Our drinks took very long to come out each time and most of us just got water and then it took probably more than 45 minutes for food the chicken wings that one of our family members ordered very bloody and undercooked. I will say the Crosanti actually was very good. Now, when we were ready for the check, it was probably almost 10 PM and the server took very long to come and collect our cards and we still had to drive a long way back to where weāre going. We were happy that the owner was able to accommodate us in the beginning, but never offered us a free meal, or any sort of compensation for the table being giving away and us having to wait an extended amount of time for another table to open up, at that point we were hungry and the children were getting antsy. We didnāt leave slickers at the time because the manager was very apologetic and attentive to us and beginning, but again it went even more downhill after that. we have been coming to the old Forge area for a very long time and Iām very disappointed at Slickers, This will definitely be a restaurant. I will not recommend to people coming to the area and this is definitely a restaurant I wonāt give a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt first I was impressed, we walked in with our family of 6 and they seated us immediately. The waitress was very nice and brought our drinks right away. We ordered chicken tenders and fries for 3 of our kids and a grilled cheese and fries for the other. My husband and I each ordered a sandwich. It took 1 hour for our food to come out. I was not impressed. There were people that came in after us and got both their appetizers and their meals before we got any of ours. Those people walked in after us and walked out before we did.the waitress brought out 3 of the chicken tenders meals finally and said still a 10 minute wait on the grilled cheese. This blows my mind. My husband and then had to still wait another 10 minutes for our SANDWICHES.. not fancy sandwiches, just sandwiches. They forgot to give him his fries he ordered and they put chips on my plate although I ordered fries. We had already waited so long that he didnāt even bother telling the waitress that they forgot his fries. The food when it was received was fairly good, but Iāve definitely had tastier French dips. I felt bad complaining to the waitress because I know it wasnāt her fault and I acknowledged that to her. All they could do is say sorry and give us a tiny bowl of chips to hold us over. My kids asked us if we could never go there again. And we wonāt be. The wait was...

He takes one look at me and my two kids and says āletās get these kids some food right awayā Jay could tell I was tired and his service was impeccable I eyed him once when I needed something he was there to help as soon as he was done with the table he was helping. He suggested accommodations he put his own parents in that go kind of unnoticed on the search browser. , instantly realizing my personal situation after mere seconds of looking at us Jay asked if I needed a drink, I did but it couldnāt knock me out, I ordered what Iām familiar with Labatt blue, jay noticed me glance barely at the taps before ordering my hometown go to. He suggests an ipa ānot too strongā he insists and I happily agree because Iāve had enough blue for 3 of me. The beer came out it wasnāt too powerful as he said, it was freaking perfect-I donāt even know what it was called I donāt care it was precisely what I needed. I think Jays energy got me through the last couple hours of a full day after the waterpark his ability to assess my situation and really care for his patrons is something missing in a lot of people. Iām really thankful for Jays service tonight. . š. The food was great, but the...
