The food here is great and the waitresses are generally on point. Myself and my girlfriend visited this place once when they only had one waitress. There was around 3 tables that were occupied when we came in and including us it was 4. We waited there for almost 10 min before the waitress asked us our order. I indicated i wanted a specific type of coffee and the waitress indicated she didn't have it and then briskly walked away, I then looked at her, got eye contact and said ok coffee then. She said ok and walked away. About 10 min pass and a guy walks in that she quickly seats and immediately brings a coffee... About 5 min later she brings us our food and complains about some other customer that complained about her service and how he was being unreasonable. (unprofessional). Then we ask her about the coffee and she was like oh my bad, I got confused and so I had to wait till she brewed another pot to get my coffee. Now during all of this she provided this guy that just walked in with his coffee and his food. The guy was able to checkout immediately as well. He was able to get his full order and checkout before we even got our food and that was because he was her Uber driver. I don't blame a person for favoring their regular customers but when the waitress complains about people not understanding they are short staffed whilst simultaneously being able to provide prompt service (ahead of customers that had been waiting for 10 min) to her Uber driver that just walked in... You really have to stop and wonder what level of self awareness this person has or if she really thinks the average customer is so daft that they can't see what is going on around them. The younger staff is great, this older lady is a...

Updated: We've eaten at Maa's dinner at least 3-4 times in 2022 since new owners. Still enjoy eating there, the menu is the same as far as I can see, prices may have changed a bit on some items but we understand and still very reasonable and fairly large portions, I still always have leftovers 👍 They're closed on Mondays, open Sunday 7am-230pm and Tues thru Friday, Saturday 7am-8pm. There are busier times and days but you can usually find a seat. They are in need of help as many places are and the staff are working Very Hard and they're down to earth too. Love to hear some of the back and forth conversations between staff and long time patrons !!! Yes it gets hectic when very very busy and sometimes only one waitress but it doesn't deter too many people, it's a smaller diner plus small parking lot .. Now that's it's Spring and it's getting warmer we'll eat there more often ... Come by, Enjoy the Food ... I think you're going to like Maa's ☕🥞🍳🥤🍔🍟🥪🍜🥘🍺😋

Old Review @1yr ago: Still love Maa's, staff fantastic, food Excellent, they managed the social distancing issues but you may have wait times depending on time/days visiting. Sadly hours changed .. Closed Mondays, Tuesday-Thursday and Saturda&Sunday close at 230pm, Fridays 8pm and prices great for the amount of food you get, always have...

5 Stars - My Favorite Spot in All of NY!

This was my third time at Maa’s Diner in Webster, NY, and I can confidently say—it’s officially my favorite spot in the entire state!

I had the Maa’s Special Omelet this time, and it was absolutely amazing. What made it even more special was that it was cooked by Nicky herself one of the owners, who was multitasking like a pro, managing the place, greeting customers, and still found time to jump in the kitchen. That level of passion and care really makes this place stand out.

The diner has such a warm, family oriented vibe. The staff are always friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. My server Eva was the sweetest super attentive and right on point with everything.

Tony and Nicky, the owners, give that special personal touch that makes you feel like family. Their attention to every little detail makes the whole experience feel more like a home-cooked meal at a loved one’s kitchen than a regular restaurant visit.

If you’re in the area or even if you’re not it’s worth the drive! you have to check out Maa’s...

It's really disheartening to see another one of my local eateries prepare to close it's doors for good. But here we go again, if you haven't been here in awhile or at all there's not much time left to do so. This diner had a classic look both inside and out from the quasi retro exterior to the counter service available inside. Your breakfast standards are offered but the specials are what kept me coming back. One of my favorite dishes in Rochester is located here and it's a play on poutine. An extra crispy home fry potato base, topped with cheese curd & hollandaise sauce. Finished with poached eggs and bacon. Biscuits on the side complete this guilty pleasure. It can be a bit of a salt bomb but why are you thinking about that if you're at a diner to begin with. Please keep supporting local businesses!

Not sure where the hype comes from, it’s a beautiful spot but nothing outstanding. Not bad, not great. I will say I got the “Irish” Benedict and it was extremely dry, not sure where the hollandaise disappeared to.. we got 1 Irish Benny, 1 western meal, 2 short stacks of Reece’s & butterfinger pancakes and a side of bacon (that was forgotten in the order) came to $56!! The menu online for Maa’s must be very outdated (even though it says ‘updated 2025’) because the prices did not match up. This is our second visit, unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be back. Wasn’t memorable, but the pancakes did have a great flavor, wasn’t bland like most restaurants!

Service was nice. Obviously a local place. Locals get served and fed first. I ordered the "Homemade" Corn Beef n Hash. Why you would make it taste and look like its from a can is beyond me but oh well. Locals like it thats what they make. Cute and cozy enough place. No one ever asked me if i enjoyed or liked my meal. I left over half of it left in the plate. I would have to say the food was ok. Edible and will make a good poo later for sure. Ill post a pick of it. It will probably look just like the original Corned Beef Hash. Stay tuned to find out.
