I woke up with a strange feeling. I sit up in my bed and try to decipher this new feeling I was experiencing. I realize I'm running late for work. OH NO!!! I get ready super duper fast and race to work. Phew, made it just in time. Trying to distract myself with the task I was given at work was not helping me shake this feeling. I couldn't help but only focusing on this emotion. Then it clicked, it was love. No, no, no love just isn't the right word. It was a lust, it was so much more than love. I wanted to know every part of it and every thought single thought that controlled it. I knew I needed to have-. Wait, what is making me feel this way. A single tear slides down my cheek. I was, I don't know, frustrated and upset and sad. I had this primal instinct for something but I didn't know what it was and for the life of me I couldn't think of anything that would make me feel this way about it. Anyway, a few hours pass and now it's lunchtime. I sit and talk to my peer about random things, such as music and movies (He makes a lot of movie references that I just don't understand). As we're talking, I see something out of the corner of my eye. I snap my head towards it...it was just a deer. We keep talking and eventually it's time to get back to work. I'm finally able to push my distraction away for a little. After some time, work comes to an end. We start packing our stuff up and it hits me. It was like I hit a brick wall. I was so stupid!! How could I not know this feeling and why I have it? It was right in front of me the whole time!!! "Grant...you're such a moron," I say to myself. I rush home and shower. I change into something more relaxing and I smile as I realize what's about to happen next. I hop in my automobile and take a leisurely stroll (not really, but for legal reasons we'll pretend). My eyes widen as I look down the road and there it is. IT'S THAT BIG, BEAUTIFUL, PURPLE BELL. I couldn't believe it, I feel as if I had just found the answer to the universe. Why was the universe created? How was the universe created? I realized that it was all because of T🔔. I place my delicious order (Steak grilled cheese burrito with nacho fries and creamy jalapeño ranch) using the T🔔 app. I choose the drive thru option and head to the line to receive my order. After 10 minutes or so I finally hold it in my hand. I devour that steak grilled cheese burrito with nacho fries and creamy jalapeño ranch like I was starving, like I had not eaten in a week!!!!! This was the day it all started. This was 2 weeks ago. Hi 👋, I'm Grant and this is my addiction to the T🔔 steak grilled cheese burrito with nacho fries and creamy jalapeño ranch. P.S. eating your T🔔 in a Lowe's parking lot is...
Read more1/2021 Update: I mean at this point there’s no hope. There’s something wrong or missing in EVERY order we get from this location. Literally every single order. That’s not even an exaggeration. Every. Single. Order. The number of times we’ve had to get back in line to get missing items or the correct items is unreasonable. I don’t honestly even know why we bother anymore; should just make the extra drive to the location by Walmart because at least they’re right probably 85% of the time. Probably going to start checking the bag while still at the window at this location from now on because it’s really just flat out ridiculous that they never can get an order right.
Update: It's been 5 months since my review. Lowered my review to 1 star. Nothing has changed. The regional manager contacted me after my initial review and gave me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, and noted that he would work to ensure this doesn't happen again. Unfortunately, nearly every single time we go it still happens and our order is messed up or something is missing. It seemed to get better for a month or so and then it just continued happening. More often than not they're just totally messing up orders now instead of missing items (though missing items still are happening here and there). And once again, we wait in line to get the order right... We've visited various other Taco Bell locations and this is the only one I've had this issue at. The one located near Fort Drum (in Evans Mills) when we travel is always perfect, fresh, yet still very quick; honestly, they deserve a raise. Wish we could swap out that location for this one!
Original review: Every single time we've been in the last few months, there has always been something missing or wrong in our order. The first few times we got all the way home before we realized it, which was frustrating enough, but now every time we go we always check the back to see what it is that's wrong this time before we leave so we can go sit in line yet again to get what they forgot. It's pretty ridiculous that we have to do that. I'm half tempted to hold up the line to check the bag before I even leave the pick-up window now. I mean, they even have us confirm our order on the screen and yet they still mess it up. The only thing this Taco Bell has going for it is we rarely wait long, even during rush our... though maybe that's the entire issue. A little more attention to detail would be nice. At this point we've probably wasted a good $10-20 in missed items because we don't want to go back out to get what they forgot once we're already home. I will say the staff does always seem to be friendly & courteous, despite the...
Read moreVery slow service at this location. If you are in a rush, you’d be better off going to a sit down Mexican restaurant, even if ordering ahead on the application. Otherwise, everything is consistent with other Taco Bell locations. The food is as it should be.
Hospitality Syracuse, thank you for your reply. I see from previous reviews that you have been promising to do better, and failed, for at least a year. My post is the result of every visit I’ve had since moving here 6 years ago. I only get fast food when I am hungry and have no time, so it really sucks to come here. From the reviews I see, It appears that your service is excruciatingly slow (and well beyond acceptable for fast food), your employees are inattentive to customers when ordering in the dining area, and there is a lack of consistency in properly fulfilling customer orders. Do with that information what you will, but the point of my review is to keep other diners from mind-numbing frustration when either stuck in the drive thru for 30 minutes (you can’t exit the line as it is blocked in on the passenger side, so you are literally stuck) or waiting for the same period of time in the dining area while being ignored by staff (from my experience and many of these reviews).
I would encourage hungry customers to check out Moe’s, Chipotle, Bill Gray’s, Five Guys, McDonald’s, or Wendy’s; all of which are fast-food, or short order options, right in the same area and capable of filling an order at a faster rate than your Taco Bell (from my experience). If people just want Mexican, Monte Alban, Caronas, and Maria’s, are all dine-in Mexican restaurants nearby and get food out at a similar or quicker rate than your Taco Bell (from my experience). For more authentic tacos, Old Pueblo Grill is a bit of a hike, but if you order ahead, it will probably be comparable to doing the same at this Taco Bell (from my experience). I do like Taco Bell for a fast food option, this location is...
