Not clean. Poor attitudes. Possibly discriminatory against service animals / support companions. Long wait just for coffee. Didn't stay to drink it.
Not a clean facility. Large portion of pancake on floor near our booth. Booth was not clean. Some sort of wrappers on floor in area. There were no other customers, this was overnight, hard to imagine the excuse of having been 'busy'. These items remained as we left, with no indication of being noticed. Server's clothes were dirty. Floor under table also in need of cleaning.
There was a long wait for coffee, with no indication this would be so, nor reason given.
Attitudes were poor. Server was not friendly, and gave air that we, as customers, were an annoyance or imposition, right from the door. We ordered coffee, deferring menu until later -- employees had a bad and presumptuous attitude about how we would be 'sitting here just drinking coffee all night'.
When our coffee finally arrived, server objected to the presence of support companion, who had been silent and still the entire time, in a proper carrier. We were told 'we can't have animals in here', at which time we announced his status and even produced a government brochure explaining such situations, and that it would be discrimination to disallow us. We actually started reading from the brochure. As the poor attitude continued, we decided to leave. Server did, at that time, say words to the effect that we were no longer being asked to leave, and then inaccurately recounted the events that had just occurred, in attempt to improve the server's apparent position -- attitude was still not welcoming, even less so now...
Read moremy experience here last night was horrible. me and my girlfriend, brother and sister inlaw went there for a bite to eat and the service was horrible. our waitress did not ask what we wanted to drink until we ordered. after being there for not even 5 minutes she asks if we are ready. we needed a few minutes. 10 minutes later she didnt show up. we had to find and tell her we were ready and then she still went off for 5 minutes before she took our orders. once ordered she asked about our drinks quite rudely. she came back with our appetizers and said she didnt know whos it was and sat it down and walked away. then our meals came 15minutes later. two of them incorrect. had to have that fixed. as we ate ae watched as 6 or 7 orders were on the counter done and ready to serve and she completely ignored them. we overheard other customers complaining on the wait times as well. she never came back to ask if everything was ok. she just brought our bill and left. half way into our meals. our waitress was jasalynn. a horrible waitress. normally we will leave 3-10 dollar tips no questions asked. this time we did not. this experience was NOT worth it. i will definitely be going somewhere else next time. i would give one star if it wasnt for 2 of the meals being good. the other two were incorrect. she didnt even write them down. she was just memorizing them. definitely not professional. would not reccomend this place. all the other dennys ive been too were excellent except for one mistake but that as...
Read moreWe love travelling to different places and eating at the local Denny's location. We stopped here on an Easter Friday. Below is our experience:
Wifey ordered a Banana caramel Crepe. When it arrived, all we saw were few slices of banana and strawberry. The crepe was nowhere to be found (usually, all the fruits are rolled inside the crepe). Then we noticed that the fruits were sitting on a wafer-thin slice of crepe. It was literally like eating a fruit salad. Cost of dish? 4.99$. Actual value = 1$.
At this point, Wifey was very disappointed and still hungry. Then, she ordered a “Loaded veggie omlet”. Lo and behold! Again the mystery of the missing veggies.. All we found was 2 slices of mushrooms and 3 spinach leaves on the omlett. It was a clear case of the “unloaded veggies” in the omlet that went missing somewhere between the kitchen and our table. Cost of dish? 9.69$! Actual value = 4$.
It was as if the chef/owner was making sure that the stock of veggies and fruits had to last the entire weekend. Of all the dennys we visited, this was certainly the worst. I would call this a “Poor man’s” Dennys. It is a shame that we were charged a full fare for a substandard serving
In future, we would simply skip this location and move to the next...
