Service seemed poor, pretty sure our waiter was high, and he was dirty with black under his fingernails and greasy long hair. Place was Definitely not clean. I had a long black hair floating in my orange soda, that my husband noticed, imagine if I drank that! the waiter acted like it was nothing. He said "oh ok" took it away dumped it and gave me a glass of ice with a can of orange soda with frosting or something all over it(why would frosting be near a can of soda), no apologies or anything. Then my son asked for ketchup for his burger and the waiter brought him spicy salsa, my son started putting it on his burger until we noticed and stopped him. Again, no apologies just "oh I don't know why they put salsa and ketchup next to each other". The waiter also never offered refills on water. Other guests came in; when they wanted to be seated outside and couldn't open the door, the same waiter with menus in hand waiting to seat them, stared at them instead of helping them, after 3 minutes he says "it's a slider just slide it".Though the food seemed to taste good, we ended up sick. Without great details, my husband sore throat and upset stomach, I had GI upset and my son had a tummy ache. I cannot in good conscience go back. I don't know why this has such high reviews and I don't know why the health department has not shut them down. So unsanitary and off-putting. Had I not been with other family that chose this place, I would have got up and left after the glass incident. After spending over $100, and that experience, I don't recommend at all. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else...
Read moreHands down best Mexican food we've had. My husband said the fajitas are definitely the best he has ever had. They were not spiced like typical fajitas. They had fresh herbs including oregano and other herbs you would nit typically have in a Mexican restaurant. I had steak street tacos that were delicious. My son had enchiladas and said the same thing...they are different than any he has had elsewhere. My daughter had broiled salmon. We complemented the waitress on how great and different everything tasted and she said that it's because most Mexican restaurants in the US use a Tex-mex style of cooking. However, the area they ate from in Mexico uses a style specific to their area which is known for great food ( I wish I could remember the name of the area). It really was delicious. Also, their menu is expansive. So even if you have someone with you that does not like Mexican food at all, there are plenty of other good options ( for example the salmon my daughter got). The other thing that was awesome is that when I ordered a margarita I asked for her not to use sour mix and we watched her fresh squeeze line juice for my drink. The waitress definitely went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. I highly...
Read moreVery jealous of all the other positive reviews. They must’ve gotten the last of this restaurant’s seasoning in their box. My meal had absolutely no seasoning or even salt anywhere in the meal. Not even the super small side of guac. No salt or other flavors present at all which sucks because there was a box of diamond kosher salt sitting behind the counter :/ very sad I spent my last bit of cash on a meal I had to throw out because it was so unenjoyable to eat. Tried to call twice within 30 minutes of posting this but it just rang. Now as I type this the restaurant is closed :( I was really hoping this would be the bright spot I needed this week. Should’ve taken my last $30 down the road and just got a simple pizza instead. Very disappointed in the meal and the fact that I couldn’t get in touch with someone for a refund. I so wanted to hype and highlight this restaurant to the community but this experience is not one I would want my friends and members of my...
