Crumbl — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

I have never had an experience at a Crumbl like the one I had this morning at the Crumbl in Yorktown. The store opened at 8am, I walked in at 8:05 and they were already sold out of two flavors. The kiosks were disabled and there was a large line of people waiting for cookies. None of the employees were talking to us. No one was taking orders. We had been told that one of the cookies would be ready in 10-15 minutes - so we all waited. After that time passed and nothing changed one of the customers in line asked if someone was going to take our orders and we were directed to use the kiosk at the front counter. We were also told that all if the new cookies were being given to pre- order customers and if we were waiting for the sold out cookies that now there wouldn’t be any until 12 noon. The manager yelled at us when we got frustrated and said he was making an executive decision in prioritizing the pre-orders and not the customers who had been standing in line! Some customers had driven over an hour to get there! The service was absolutely awful. The manager said, “IT’S ONLY DESSERT PEOPLE!” and was incredibly dismissive and rude! I will never ever go back to this location! I actually wound up going to the Danbury CT Crumbl and they had everything I needed. Yorktown Heights really needs to get their acts together!! Honestly my experience overall, the entire time I’ve been at this place I’ve loved it, the people are great, I’m able to try their delicious cookies and the pay (although not the best) is decent and I do love that with crumble’s system they pay every week. I love their cheesecake cookies and fruit related desserts. My favorites so far are the hazelnut sea salt and the blueberry cheesecake. Justin and Scott are great people once you get to know them. I highly recommend this place 10/10 would eat again!!!!! Oh and let’s not forget their rotating menu every week with over 300 flavors that they offer. I love that I’m able to get a 50 % discount when I purchase or buy cookies in makes me feel like I have a little reassurance. Ordered on the app and was told that the only cookie sold out was milk chocolate chip. Ok, wasn’t upset I wanted to get the other cookies anyway. Drove 40 minutes and once I arrived they told me that all the other flavors I put in my box were sold out. Why accept the order when y know damn well u don’t have the cookies I ordered? Then they tried to scam me offering “2 mini cookies for each norma sized cookie” HO IS U COO???? IN WHAT WORLD DO 2 MINIS = 1 NORMAL SIZED COOKIE. BEST BELIEVE IM NOT COMING HERE AGAIN . I GOT IN MY CAR AND CRIED FROM HOW HARD I GOT SCAMMED.
