Never again will I order at this store Iāll stick to the one in Stony Point they treat customers with respect, today 12/18/23 I went to the store to pick up my items that I purchased on line n also to buy more stuff for my 4 furr babies, let me tell you how rude the was towards my husband and I, I asked the guy whereās our other bag of food that we purchased and he said oh we didnāt have it, so I said why anyone hasnāt called me to see if I wanted to exchange it for another flavor and he goes thatās not my job itās your job to call is to see if we hav it or not and he refused to call a manager, he said Iām not calling them because I already know what there goin to say, I said r u serious I said please get me a manager he said no, I said ok paid for my stuff and left he goes and say losing one customer isnāt anything to us by and donāt ever come back. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS STORE EVER AGAINā¦.. The guy name was Chris and there also was an older gentleman with him also rude. Didnāt get his name because he wouldnāt give it to me⦠Oh and Chris also stated that this store is a family owned operated, ok š good one.

I called the store to speak to a manager on 12-19-23 donāt really know if I really spoke to a manager because when I told him my side of the story I felt like he didnāt believe me at all, he said was Iāll speak to Chris to see what he says, manager said heāll call me back after he speaks to Chris, I still didnāt get a call back at all. I felt like he didnāt care at all didnāt even ask to fix the problem. I donāt think I was speaking to a manager because a manager would know how to make it right.

Checked the site again a day later and the same discounted dog food is still available for purchase. Another incident, I ordered a 40 lb bird seed for curbside pickup and waited outside for more than 15 mins. I can see the cashier from the window standing at the register without a customer in sight. I finally went inside to pick the item myself wearing a left boot cast. The nail in the coffin ... I purchased a dog food online and picked up IN STORE this time rather than wait at curbside. I mistakenly ordered the wrong type so I returned it the following day. Bag still sealed unopened receipt on hand, the cashier can not see an option to process the return for credit, sought an associate who couldn't help either. Finally a manager (?) was called in to figure it out. Tinkering on the screen for several minutes, he shook his head in dismay. So he decided to resolve it another way (his way I supposed). He had me insert my credit card and told me he will apply the credit, press a button in the screen and told me it's settled but can't issue the receipt. After waiting for several minutes holding up the line, I just decided to leave and said thanks. Four days later, I checked my credit card transaction. My friend and I usually go to another Pet Supplies Plus, but they were out of what we needed. We decided to go to the Yorktown location, which was a HUGE mistake. The owner of the store gave us a hard time over coupons that we had and how we were using them. She demanded to see one of the coupons that we had, when we had a code and one on paper. Considering we can order online, use the code and then pick up order in store, why are you questioning us? Then when we wanted to do two separate purchases to use the coupons she gave us a hard time and made rude remarks, but eventually let us do it. She also made it seem like her store was the only privately owned store and there were special rules at this location, and that her store would be taken from her if she didnāt follow them. Iāve been to many pet supplies plus stores and never experienced anything like this. Finally, when we were leaving, the owner inquired about where I parked my car and told me to make sure I bring her cart back like I was going to steal it.
