On Sunday, August 17, I visited this new location excited to pick up croissant donuts I had bragged about to friends. The store looked nice, the cakes seemed fresh, but the experience I had left me questioning if I’ll ever return. While in line, I noticed multiple registers available but only one open. Another employee stood near a register doing busy work, repeatedly looking at me but never offering to help. I waited 3–5 minutes. The moment I moved up to the available register, that same employee jumped to help the person behind me. I was the only African American customer in the store. That timing, that choice, that deliberate avoidance — it didn’t feel like a coincidence. It felt like I was ignored until I could be bypassed. Whether this was outright discrimination or a complete failure in customer service, the impact is the same: I left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and questioning whether race played a role in how I was treated. This is unacceptable. Businesses must do better. Paris Baguette needs to ask itself whether staff are properly trained, or whether bias — conscious or not — is being allowed to dictate how customers are treated. My experience makes me question not only this location, but the...
Read moreI have an allergy to coconut milk, creamer, flour, and whole coconut. I can have coconut water and oil. 90% of the pastries says 'contains coconut' no elaboration as to what kind. Even there brownies and cookies said contains coconut. When I asked the girl at the register 'why does everything say contains coconut' she said 'i dont know but if it says it it has coconut'. So I then asked if they had the nutrientional fact book with ingredients listed so I could find out if I could even eat ANY of the pastries. She looked at me extremely confused and said "I dont think we have that". As it currently stands this is an unsafe place for me to dine at, im willing to come back when its less busy and try again to ask about the nutrientional fact book and read it. But as it currently stands they are not meeting The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. I am highly...
Read moreWe recently bought pastries and bread for breakfast, and it is a very welcome addition to the area. We purchased baguettes, strawberry and cream croissant, mini lemon and strawberry croissant, salt roll, a macaron, coffee croissant donut, and a twisted donut. The wins were the strawberry and cream croissant, the mini one, and the coffee croissant donut. The roll and macaron were overpriced. The twisted donut was a little too tough but nice flavor. The baguette was decent but too much flour on the bottom and would benefit greatly from sour dough. The interior had a very nice chew. We will definitely return again, but I just wish the prices were a...
