Smoothie King — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

Latest Update: Awesome place, as always. Just two suggestions. Once in awhile the smoothies are not fully blended like today. The dates, peanut butter and blueberries had some small pieces getting stuck in the straw. Last, please be careful with the doors open in the spring and summer weather. We’ve seen other smoothie places have flies issues. Thanks.

Just visited today as we promised to do so when back in the area. Once again, 5 Stars. Really great people, very nice owner. Totally clean and organized place. In fact, the cleanest and most organized SK I’ve yet seen (and the other SKs were nice). Nice atmosphere and spacious. Lastly, fantastic smoothies. Thank you!!!

What a great addition to the area. The smoothies were great. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of parking. But, most importantly... what a great group of people working here. We're not from the area, but often come by. When we do, we'll be back here. ...

I know this place just opened recently, but things seem to be running very poorly. Aside from the bathroom feeling like they weren’t properly cleaned, things felt a bit neglected. On top of that, I saw two young children walking behind the line with the other workers. I thought they wandered in there, but their mom was the manager of the store. When I actually did order my smoothie, I noticed the blenders weren’t properly sanitized. This is a big deal for me because both my son and husband have peanut allergies. I do my best to scope out any issues before I bring them in because if there’s any form of cross-contamination, we have to rush to the ER.

I don’t feel comfortable coming back here, knowing there are children behind the line and a staff that seems...

We’re so excited this has come to our area! So many selections and the staff is helpful and the service was great. They also made sure to pay close attention to the equipment used for my daughter’s order since she has a peanut/nut allergy. They used the designated orange blender (from the back) and also notated it by posting receipt to the blender to ensure the safety of her order. Looking forward to going there again...
