Stoner's Pizza Joint — Restaurant in Travelers Rest

We have waited a bit to try this place for the first time. We had a true twilight zone experience last night- you can't even make this kind of story up. We placed an online order at 8:02 so that we could swing by on the way home and have a late dinner. Our confirmation said our order would be ready at 8:27. We arrived at 8:30, and they didn't know we had even placed an order. We were told to come back in 10-15 minutes and the food would be ready. My husband dropped me off at home and went back and sat there for another 25-30 minutes waiting. During this time, they ran out of cheese and had to go into Food Lion to get more, and all of that cheese was burning in the pizza oven. He arrived home well over an hour after our original order was placed, and he had a container of wings instead of my small pizza. Even better, the container opened and spilled on the way home- getting sauce everywhere. We didn't even order wings. Apparently my pizza never even made it to the oven. His calzone was burnt and had to be thrown out after a few bites. We did receive a $25 refund after he went back for a second time to see if my pizza was there waiting and we had just been given the wrong order, but he was told the online orders coming through were confusing. The refund was appreciated, but didn't cover the cost of our original order, the mess in the car from the incorrect order being given to us, or the almost two hours wasted of our evening that ended...

Ordered there twice. The first time was an in store pick-up, but the food was wrong. The boxing was correct, but the pizza in the box did not match what was listed/ordered. This second order was done through delivery. The order was placed through the Stoners website directly, not a 3rd party, though the order was delivered via Door Dash. The order that comes was incorrect, wrong ticket and everything. Door Dasher wanted me to call the store, the store wanted me to call Door Dash stating “they can’t intervene on third party deliveries”. I ordered through the Stoners website… this was THEIR third party. I didn’t order through a third party, I shouldn’t have to clean up their mess. I ordered and I paid, that was the extend of my obligation. I get it… accidents happen. I wasn’t upset that mistakes were made, I wasn’t upset about possible delays, I’m understanding… but I’m also tired, and asking me to call and fix this issue caused by the third party delivery service that YOU chose to use is more than I feel like taking on this evening.

Listen, Stoners… YOU want to out source your delivery. That’s fine, but when they fail, that is YOUR mess. They are third party, but they are still your responsibility… until the order I paid for is delivered, I need you to handle your own crap, don’t pawn...

This review only pertains to the Tuesday special, one topping small pizza for $4.20. My wife was out of town and I thought I would order a couple of these uncooked and put them in the freezer. They cooked them halfway anyway and I said okay cool and just put them in the freezer. Went to heat them up, and was shocked by how little toppings were on them. I think there was six pepperonis on the whole pizza, it was about 90% bread. There was maybe a quarter cup of cheese on the whole pizza . Ended up scraping the few toppings on to two slices and throwing the rest of it away. I understand these were only $4 but why bother when it's only going to hurt your reputation. I've had their normal priced pizzas and they are pretty good for what I consider to be "fast food" pizza. Definitely won't buy the...
