Pizza House — Restaurant in Travelers Rest

It is very rare that I write a review with this few stars. That being said, our experience was terrible so I feel like I need to share. My brother and sister and our kids ate at the pizza house. The restaurant was empty except for two other customers. I gave the restaurant two stars because our waitress was absolutely rude. She forgot to bring one of the boys drinks and responded with “you never told me what he wanted.” I double checked with my daughter and sister who informed me that yes I did in fact tell her what we wanted. I didn’t complain in the restaurant because I didn’t want to make a scene. But after we left my daughter told me the waitress was rude to her as well. When she came back to take our order because it took some time to decide what we wanted for all of the kids she made the comment “ The real question is.....are you ready to order?” I will say, the other staff members were wonderful. I don’t know if our waitress was having a bad day, or if she was frustrated that we brought small children into the restaurant. Had a great time tonight at Pizza House! The food and service was great! Everything was delicious! I ordered chicken Alfredo and wings and my date got lasagna and wings! Both come with salad and buttered toast hoagie bread. The portions were huge! My Alfredo was super creamy just like I love it! Dani was our server & I just want to personally compliment her service. She was very attentive, her bright smile and bright attitude was very much appreciated by us! Customer service goes a very long way and that is one main reason I'll definitely be back. We were greeted upon entering which is a plus as well! Seating was easy as we sat ourselves. Small cozy atmosphere. I could hardly make my mind up on choices even though their specialty is pizza, there's so much more to choose from and I think that's a great idea because it's all good! I already have my mind set for pizza next visit! I had a wonderful time and I'll come back definitely! Thank you DANI!❤️ You're awesome! P.s. please from a customer perspective add thousand Island dressing and French dressing to the menu! Prices were decent for the portions! They have subs, pastas, wings, dessert, you name it! We had an awesome time and amazing food! Great atmosphere, our waitress was very attentive to our needs. George the owner is very welcoming to all guests..which is refreshing to see. We visited this place for the first time about a year ago when our friend took us there. We finally got the chance to come back AND the owner remembered us. That is customer service! So... for the food - we shared a house salad that was full of meat and the house dressing was great. We ordered a meat pizza. Had all types of meat and cheese, they don't hold back- if we went anywhere else the pizza would have been 30 dollars alone AND it would not have tasted as good either. We ordered 8 wings because they have a special going on right now, 2.99 for 8 wings when you order a large pizza; so why not right?The wings we very good and Cooked just right.
