Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Troutdale

Waited in line for 20 minutes at 1pm to get an energy drink. The speaker box said it was not working, and to order at the window. After the insanely long wait, I mentioned that this was the 3rd time I've gone through the drive in with the speaker box not operating. The barista said bluntly that it IS working, they're just choosing not to use it. Talking about irritating. I ordered my energy drink, and a rice crispy treat. She gave me my total, I got my points for my app, she swiped my card, and gave me my drink. I asked for my rice crispy treat, which apparently she forgot to ring up. So I had to swipe my card again. Then they gave me one that was frozen and hard as a rock. I grabbed it and left. Was halfway down the road when I found out the damn barista didn't give me a straw for my drink. Plus I didn't get points for my rice crispy treat. Super irritating experience. Will not be back to this location. The manager needs to do better and hire better people....

The last 3 times i visited to this location the interactions have been littered with disrespectful insinuations from a specific barista towards me as a customer. it is uncomfortable and really weird behavior. you would think it would be common sense /employees would be self-aware enough to understand what they are saying. Projecting your personal issues with your customers is not appropriate or conducive to ANY type of work environment / customer experience especially in an environment where you RELY on customers DAILY for sales. I've been a regular for over a year but after my experience yesterday, I think I'm just gonna stop drinking Black Rock Altogether. more than half the time they don't even make my drink right at the stark location and I'm starting to see the same careless pattern at this location. I arrived at 5 am waited 25 minutes and no one ever came to the window. Drove around a couple of times and no one was there. This is sad. I was visiting and was in the area so I stopped by. My coworkers had visited and said it was amazing however it wasn’t for me. I was highly disappointed. No one was there and they were supposed to be open. Here it is 30 minutes out and I’m still waiting and wishing for someone to come. Cars are now lining up behind me and still no one is here. So I’m just too invested now I had to wait more so I pull over and wait and then 35 minutes later I see a lady running to open up the coffee shop. I’m highly disappointed in this place.
