My husband and I were on a long drive to an appointment, and we decided to stop at the Taco Bell in Troutdale for a late dinner before continuing on our destination. This was on 6/12 at around 8:45 pm.
I am highly disappointed in this location. I've never been disrespected in such a manner by one of the team members as I was that night. I want to mention that I always try to treat others with respect because, that is how I would want to be treated. I never raised my voice and kept manners the entire time as I strongly dislike confrontation or drama.
We placed the order on our mobile app to make it easier for everyone. We chose to pick up inside and sit at one of the tables. Now, my first impression was the cleanliness of the location. It was clean, and an employee was cleaning throughout the entire time we were there. She did an excellent job.
I went up to the shelf to grab our food and noticed our drinks weren't there. I waited for a few moments at the counter and a woman called out loudly from the back with a look as if it was a bother "do you need something??!" I mentioned that we didn't receive our drinks. She had me repeat it 3 times and swirled her hand in the air at me. She then just rolled her eyes, turned around, and walked away. Another employee noticed and stepped up to the counter. He was very respectful and handed me our cups.
I couldn't believe the disrespect from the older female employee. I believe that this location should strongly consider a training session on proper customer service. I was not the only one who had to wait for staff to give them drinks or items that were forgotten. Unfortunately, this seems to be becoming the norm in customer service with some people. I truly hope she was just having a bad day and not this way with others on a regular basis.

Read moreUpdate to the review below. So far my orders have always been correct and the inside is clean and orderly. But I must say the most annoying thing is their upcharge on the food . Everything is more expensive than 90% of the other taco bells in the surrounding area or slightly outside. When the $5 dollar cravings box came out in later 2023 they charged $10 dollars for it! Everything else here is like $1.00 to $5.00 more. I work close by next to the airport and it's the closest taco bell I can get to in time for my lunch as well as it would be for the many other people that work at the many other big companies around the area. so I think they're using this issue as an upper hand to be able to get away with their ridiculous upcharging. Apart from that The service is a bit slower than my review a year ago and I don't get nearly as much sauce as I order everytime like before being the sauce lover that I am and it's not like I order an unreasonable amount of sauce .
I went there not too long after construction was finished noticing that it was open as I had been waiting for it to be for I liked to go to the old one right down the road. I went there at about 8pm, My order was exactly how I ordered.being plant based this is important to me. I got as many sauce packets if not more that I asked for. being a sauce lover this is important to me. I was advised to download the mobile app and create an account in order to get the $5 cravings box for $5 instead of $10 (supposedly it’s $10 when you order it in the store or through the drive thru). That next day I came in and see the same guy working there who told me to download the app, however, the cravings box is still showing $10 even though it’s clearly advertised for &5! Michael would not give me the price as advertised in their app. This location is also conducting fraud by stealing customers receipts and scanning them with the mobile app to steal their points!!! The guy behind the counter said they stock pile customers receipts so him and the manager can scan them in their personal apps to get the points and he then refused to give me my receipt since he magically “lost it” after he walked to the back room with it!!!
