Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Troutdale

Popeyes totally SUCKED!! They had a giant sign plastered on their front window advertising the "Surf & Turf" special for a flat $5.00, which is 3 boneless chicken wings, 3 buttermilk shrimp, 1 side and a biscuit. When I arrived at the counter and pointed to the sign on the window telling the cashier what I wanted, she says, "Here, let me check for you." She looks at her register and says, "I'm sorry, that's $6.99 not $5.00." She then asks, "Is that okay?" But she does NOT offer to honor the advertised price. Rather than causing a scene with a lineup of other customers in back of me, or to walk away in disgust and be embarrased, I just agree to pay the "extortion fee" of $2.00 in that case. Then I use my receipt code to conduct their online survey and I fully explain the situation, thus giving the store a 1-star rating due to the issue. At the end of the survey, the question is asked if I want to be contacted about the problem, so I click on "YES" and give my phone number & email address. No phone call ever comes. Then the next day, I get an email inviting me to complete the ENTIRE survey all over again, as though I had never completed one in the first place. So the particular store in this case, including the company itself, apparently does not value good customer relations, including to both create false advertising and to also not be willing to correct a problem based on an initial customer complaint. All they offered to do here was to waste more of my time by inviting me to repeat myself over again about my negative experience. So not only will I never eat at the affected store location again, but I will NEVER eat at Popeyes...

I visited here approximately 9:52 a.m. September 9th there were approximately 7 young men running the store the moment I walked in they were discussing whether or not they dated a girl why not being loud and I don't know none of them seem to be doing any kind of work not even the cashier half ass he was busy involving himself in the conversation as well while trying to take orders at the same time it was horrible having to walk in and stand there and listen to them ramp on about some girl and who they were dating and why not rather than working they were very loud everyone in the restaurant can hear them they were goofing off playin and being obnoxious I couldn't believe my ears no less what I was saying none of them seem to be doing any kind of work just goofing off I just felt this was very unprofessional and needs to be brought to their attention it's not cool especially in front of customers they don't want to have to sit and listen to obnoxious loud talking while waiting on their food I'm hoping this matter gets resolved it was horrible to have to sit around...

Probably the worst experience I have ever had in my life ordered from door dash 96 dollars for a company lunch meeting ordered 30 piece meal with six different sides it showed up with 6 sides of fries called spoke to Debbie she looked at the order said it was there mistake she was sorry and to save receipt come in and they would fix it. So I showed up first person got the manager from the back told me Debbie was let go today and they wouldn’t do anything about it. I said that was not an acceptable solution then the “general manager” came out. Told me that Debbie was not a manager and didn’t have the authority to make that decision. But I could come talk to her tommorrow. tried to make a scene in front of the other customers to embassy’s me I asked for her bosses name and she told mel I dont have a boss and then gave me a fake number to the owners. It’s amazing ho such bad employees attitudes can cause business's so much. Please avoid this location...
