Do not go to this location…! Tonight yet again was a nightmare. Worse than the issue I had in February. I went a second time to this new location in Troutdale, just to have my order completely messed up. We went in there when it was completely dead inside and we ordered inside. the young lady her and I were only talking about chimichangas and mentioning the chimichangas one ground beef and one shredded beef. The young lady and I were specifically talking about chimichangas and how I need a lot of green sauce because they absorb the green sauce so easily The number four is the number four under specials… Which is chimichangas beans and rice… We leave and get back on the freeway going towards the Dalles, realizing they got me a number four combo that is a Tostadas and something else I don’t even freaking know it is with beans and rice… but we got the same incorrect order and paid a lot of money for it. The young lady tonight chit chatted with me all about it while the food was being made. What I don’t get is she never did recite my order to me. I even tipped her… Which I regret doing because this is the second time they’ve screwed up my order and I wish I learned the first time… When I called the restaurant, the young lady answered and I told her I was just in there at 11pm, and you guys gave me the wrong order. It was suppose to both be chimichangas. I’m sorry, but I wasn’t dreaming. I ordered chimichanga’s and was talking to her all about it… And she said I did not order chimichangas. Never did I mention any other food other than the biggest burrito and the chimichangas and rice and beans!!! Oh my God I can’t believe this and then the more messed up thing is she was yelling at me and arguing with me yelling over me and not allowing me to speak! She kept saying, she would not remake my food or help me out with this issue… She said the manager would be in tomorrow to speak with, but he’s not available.I’m really upset. The girl wasn’t even paying attention and her head was in La La Land for sure. I hope I can get...
Read moreThis place is the bomb. What's funny is the first time I went there they happened to be out of cheese which was crazy. I still ordered a meat burrito plate with extra guac and sour cream and it was great. The second time was thoroughly enjoyable with yummy cheese and a large horchata. If you're a truck driver and you need to fuel at Love's, go ahead and do that first pull forward. You could try to find a parking or pull around to the side and sometimes trucks park along the side of the Muchas Gracias bldg there but very limited. What I do is I got back in the fuel line and I saw a guy just pulling forward and stopping to go into the Love's bldg, so I got behind him like I was going to fuel and ran and got some food. They were quick with my order and when I got back nobody was behind me and the truck in front of me had already left. The next tricky part is pulling out of that truck stop and I have to get all the way over to the left lane. That being said, my third time at Muchas Gracias, found a taquito plate worthy of what I've been craving for years when this other restaurant in Los Angeles changed owners and they didn't have the yummy taquito/ rolled taco deal anymore. Muchas Gracias offers three or five and I got five taquitos smothered in guacamole and piled with queso and they give you a red and a green sauce and it's just the perfect amount to pour on top. And you're probably going to need the fork because you got to scoop up all the deliciousness. 5 for $9 is...
Read moreI've been following this silly chain literally from San Diego through the Washington State border. I could write a book. I should, too; the story behind the restaurant is half the fun. As you see in my first picture, you can find a Muchos Gracias in a deep fog with all of that festive paint. Clearly, anything that bright and happy could never have come from the northwest. . We will not speak of the local Taco joint.
But what to get here?? They've got lots of tasty things. I'm partial to carnitas, and the tacos are sublime. Do try the squeeze bottles of hot sauce, though you might want to try them in little dabs just to make sure they're not going to jack up your dental work. They can get pretty hot. They're open late hours and if they can get away with it, they try to open their restaurants 24 hours. In either case, when you need greasy hot delicious Mexican food, late in the wee hours, for whatever reason, this joint scratches an itch. The only reason why it doesn't rate of five is it is not as tasty as our local Latinos then cook it, Muchos Gracias is definitely more of an Anglo experience. But I know it scratches that itch that only MG can get at, and I...
