Today I used the F word in a bout of frustration, something I have never done before. What could have brought me to such hot anger that I forewent public decency to ultimately end up yelling at this woman?
The woman working the front counter today, Wednesday the 19th at 4PM and her manager.
First, lady, you spent 2-3 minutes making small talk with the elderly couple in front of me. I watched as you made several attempts to question them about what seemed like everything under the sun. They didnāt respond once, they didnāt laugh, they too were incredibly frustrated. At this point, there was a line of 5 people that had formed behind them. I was one of them. But you didnāt notice. You just kept on keeping on.
You then dumped an entire pot of coffee out into a garbage can (who does that?) and told them you wanted to make them a fresh pot. To which they declined, and you insisted anyway.
And instead of multitasking while the coffee was brewing, you sat against the counter to try and create more small talk.
At this point your manager came up, assessed the situation, and instead of stepping in and helping out during an obvious r decided to walk outside for a smoke break.
This is not how you operate a business.
Kindly take your heads out of your asses, be more perceptive of your surroundings, and for Christ sake... just because your a manager, does not mean your job is to walk around with a key, snapping your bubble gum, with your heavy ass grumpy attitude - Help your freaking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a very clean huge McDonaldās with a touch screen type light up table top,...pretty cool.
Staff was friendly. Some non engaging/no eye contact, yet some very friendly.
What I did not like about it was you have to ask staff in the middle of taking orders, to buzz you into the restroom like some of the nightclubs Iāve secured in the past. Really??
Thatās a huge inconvenience for all the customers coming in hurrying straight to the restroom š½ first, only to literally hit the door, look confused, then come up front in the store in front of everyone,.. speak over all the people in line (or wait) and ask can you Buzz me into the restroom so I can sh*t, change tampon, freshen myself up , etc, while the cashier is taking orders and smiles and buzzes you in, while pausing taking orders, and everyone waits/watches,... then they continue to order their food with that image In mind.
Really? Not a good look Oregon and Iāve been to many very aggressive homeless problem Urban areas In the USA and even they donāt put Buzz locks on the doors and those areas are extremely worse as compared to this nice location.
I donāt have your solution. But Youāre still McDonaldās. An international brand. Figure out a different remedy other than subjecting us, your customers to the Buzz lock š out technique.
Thanks. I still enjoyed the meal and the rest...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just had the worst experience at the McDonalds on Frontage Rd in Troutdale. We ordered in the app and waited more than 40 minutes. Customers were getting so upset a fight almost broke out in the restaurant. They made our drinks 30 mins before our food was ready and expected me to take cold coffee and a melted frappe. I took the cold coffee, which they didn't even put the cream in, but asked them to make a new frappe and the kid working gave me attitude and said he called it out. I told him it does no good to get the drink if the food is 30 mins out. It was for people waiting outside in the car. When the food was ready we counted our food and left. Once on the road we realized 3 of our sandwiches were totally incorrect. We we already on the road and didn't have time to come back. We ordered two sausage mcgriddles with cheese. We got a mcgriddle bun with chicken, no cheese for both. Also, got an egg mcmuffin. It had no meat included. I now have to stop at the next exit to get my kids food. That was the worst McDonalds experience I have ever had and I will never visit that...
