UPDATE: NO MORE KARAOKE BOOOO CORPORATE! They said that it cost them money, but we saw fewer people who didn't stay as long this time. Two stars off of atmosphere for that. This HAD BEEN one of our favorite PNW truck stops for the unique nature of having a home bar feeling with pool and karaoke, with a lively vibe. We were leaving and a couple was literally entering FOR the karaoke and were disappointed to find out it wasn't happening. E
OLD REVIEW: Trent? An outstanding rock star behind the bar AND at the mic when KJ Simos wheedled him into the spotlight. His drinks are mixed right, his service and attentiveness was 10/10, and he was an amazing host. We didn't even notice when he put one of our drinks down, it was magic.
KJ Simos? BOOK HIM, trust me! There aren't enough words to put him on blast for being both an amazing MC and KJ. Karaoke with him was phenomenal: he flowed with his audience and he picked up on which singers he could easily play or sing with very easily. He has a great voice, can encourage anyone to sing, and brings the party spirit. He's worth every penny.

Read moreFirst time here.(Sunday Feb. 3) Heard they were starting a Jam for musicians related to a class some instructors are teaching. The people running the Jam were not only very good players, but also very welcoming to others that were not even in the class. A truck driver from TN came up twice and sang (Sean). What a great voice and kind gentleman. There were other truck drivers there that were very appreciative and supportive of the Jam. I met a lot of nice drivers, and now appreciate them even more for all there hard work getting our goods to us! The bar staff was great and supportive also. Not many places help the community like Mr. B' s does I found out. Good food and I found a great IPA on tap also. First time there but I am coming back again and going to try playing at the open mic again in a couple of weeks. (Every two weeks I think is what a poster said). Kind atmospheres are being more rare for some reason these days....
