🍽️ Bheemas Indian Restaurant, Troy: 👍👍👍 👎 👎 Experience New Flavors at Bheemas Indian Restaurant in Troy, where we have shared our initial impressions as recently opened another Indian restaurant in town. FOOD QUALITY👍: We ordered Kothuporotta Chicken, Pepper Chicken, and Naan. While the food was satisfactory, it lacked uniqueness. The complimentary Masala Pappad was not crispy, and even after replacing it, there was no improvement. It’s hoped that the main chef pays more attention to these details. SERVICE & HOSPITALITY👎: The staff at Bheemas Indian Restaurant appeared very serious and did not have friendly demeanors. Additionally, there was an issue with the credit card transaction fee being charged as an admin fee. When questioned, the manager initially argued it was for POS terminal charges but later clarified it was an owner’s decision. Bill has been shared to show fees. This lack of transparency and the impression that tips might not be reaching the staff correctly were concerning. AMBIENCE & SETTING👍: The ambiance at Bheemas is welcoming, providing a comfortable setting for diners to enjoy their meals. VALUE for MONEY👎: The experience was marred by the additional fees and the average quality of the food, making the value for money aspect less satisfactory. LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY👍: Conveniently located in Troy, Bheemas Indian Restaurant is easily accessible, making it a practical choice for those seeking Indian cuisine in the area. In summary, Bheemas Indian Restaurant in Troy offers a decent dining experience but has room for improvement in food quality and service. The ambiance is pleasant, but the value for money is impacted by additional fees and average food quality. We hope that with improved transparency regarding fees and better service, Bheemas will become a five-star destination. Being locals, we plan to visit again and look forward to seeing positive changes.

After two months of visits and observations, I can confidently say this restaurant in Troy is a top choice for an authentic Indian dining experience in Michigan. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with a lively bar area and vibrant decor – plus, the drinks aren’t overly pricey, which is a nice touch. Their signature dishes are truly impressive and showcase bold, well-crafted flavors. Personal favorites include the Drinkers Chicken, Chicken 65, Damaka chicken, Gongura Tandoori Chicken, Podi Idly also I love weekend specials like Goat Mandi Biriyani, Sathibabu Biriyani and Pachimirchi Kodi Pulav. For dessert, the rose milk is a nostalgic treat and a must-try.. However, certain items like the dosas, parota salna, goli soda, chicken dum biriyani and No Name Mutton Biriyani didn’t quite meet my expectations. For those well-acquainted with these dishes, they might not entirely live up to the original flavors, though people trying them for the first time may still enjoy them. Desserts like jamun rasgulla are good same like every where I did not feel special. The service is consistently excellent, even during busy weekends. But like anywhere, it can take around 15-30 minutes when the crowd is high. (I don’t like waiting for food that long but the taste of the food gives us no option other than waiting hence being positive about waiting)Still, They make up for waiting time by offering free soup, I recommend ordering 30 minutes in advance for takeout to avoid waiting. While they don’t take reservations for smaller groups of 2 or 4 (I’m unsure about larger parties), the extended hours until 2 AM are a major plus. I personally visited with my family around midnight, and the place was still engaging and vibrant. Overall, it’s a worthwhile stop whether you’re local or passing through Michigan.

This was our first visit to Bheema’s restaurant. This is the first Indian restaurant I’ve come across with impressive interiors and a warm, welcoming staff. They offer only an à la carte menu with no buffet option. The ambience and service were exceptional, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about the menu. Both the portion sizes and pricing were reasonable. We ordered chicken lollipops, Amaravati chicken, Apollo fish, Burma’s chicken mandi biryani, and rose paneer goli soda. Both amaravati chicken and Apollo fish tastes good. The meat was succulent and soft , tantalized our taste buds. The wait time was short, and the portion sizes were generous. All the appetizers were deep-fried, so next time, I’ll opt for sautéed or tandoor-based starters. The chicken lollipops were slightly under-seasoned, and the chicken seekh kebab in the mandi biryani was a bit dry. Overall, it is a must try restaurant in Troy, MI.

Bheema’s Indian Cuisine & Spirits in Detroit is a true hidden gem for anyone who loves rich, flavorful Indian food. From the moment you step in, the ambiance transports you to the heart of India with its warm, welcoming decor and aromatic spices in the air. The staff is extremely polite, attentive, and professional, making you feel instantly at home. The service is fast, friendly, and filled with genuine smiles. What really makes Bheema’s stand out is the incredible variety and taste of their dishes. Every item on the menu is prepared fresh and bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The starters are absolutely mouthwatering – crispy, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin your meal. From samosas to chicken 65, the appetizers are a highlight that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. But the real star of the show is their biryani – it’s simply divine. Fragrant, perfectly cooked basmati rice layered with tender, juicy meat and a rich blend of spices. Whether you try the chicken, lamb, or vegetarian version, the biryani will leave you speechless. It’s both spicy and savory, cooked to perfection, and served in generous portions. The curries are equally delicious, full of depth and expertly spiced. The naan bread is soft and warm, perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. Drinks from the bar are thoughtfully crafted, pairing well with the food. Every dish is made with passion, and it shows in the presentation and flavor. The cleanliness and hygiene of the place are top-notch. The music and overall vibe make it perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out. It’s clear the chefs take pride in every meal they prepare. You can feel the love in every bite. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. You’ll definitely leave full, happy, and planning your next visit. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to recommending dishes. Bheema’s offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, catering to every palate. The spice levels are just right – bold but not overpowering. Their signature sauces and chutneys add an extra layer of flavor to every dish. Whether you’re a first-time guest or a regular, they treat you like family. It’s no surprise people keep coming back again and again. This place deserves all the praise it gets. From the moment you walk in to the final bite, everything is excellent. Bheema’s isn’t just a restaurant – it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Indian flavors. A must-visit when you’re in Detroit. Don’t miss out on this incredible...

I rarely review restaurants but Bheema’s truly earned a solid review. My family wanted to treat me to a holiday meal at a favorite restaurant this weekend, so we immediately suggested Priya- not knowing it had changed owners. We only learned about the change when we pulled up to the restaurant. I am so glad we went in! The outside hasn’t changed much, but everything else is fresh and new - decidedly more upscale. The decor is lovely, very pleasant and the ambiance is perfect for socializing and conversing - sufficiently quiet for business dinners. There is a choice of large comfortable chairs or booths. The service (serving trays etc.) is upscale and compliments the new decor. The wait staff is knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The food: I was afraid I would be disappointed because we were accustomed to the excellent food Priya offered, but I was pleasantly surprised to sample truly outstanding offerings from an impressive new menu that is nearly overwhelming - with an endless variety of authentic dishes. Even so, I was a huge fan of Priya’s butter chicken so that is what I tried first (with medium spice). I did not expect it to surpass Priya’s but we all agreed that somehow it was imperceptibly better. It had all the qualities we loved - the rich silkiness Priya’s dish was known for, but the flavor profile was even richer and more satisfying. The serving sizes were generous and the food was prepared surprisingly fast. Everything we ate was excellent - fresh, rich with flavor and aromatic herbs and spices. The servers are generous with sauces and sides and offered us an impressive drink menu as well (we didn’t sample that however). Overall, it was really refreshing to find a place where we could converse and share a meal in comfort - without having to shout to hear each other. Additionally, the new owners have elevated and improved nearly every aspect of the dining experience, making it feel more special. I expect that business will pick up quickly and it may be that we will have to wait for a table next time. But this first visit was perfect- we sat right down, received excellent, professional service, was even visited by the owner who asked about our experience. We really enjoyed the outstanding food, and left very impressed and satisfied with the quality and value of the dining experience. This is one of the best values in the area and easily some of the best Indian cuisine in metro Detroit. We hope to return soon before everyone has...
