Updated 3-8-24 Though we would give Jimmy John's another chance, it was a mistake. Watching one of the employees eating toppings while making our food was the biggest issue. The other being we ordered two of the same item, and they were drastically different in the way they were made. The manager didn't seem surprised or like it was a big deal and made it seem like I was being unreasonable asking for a refund. It's unbelievable that someone would think it's okay to eat food off of the line that's literally right in front of the customers.
If they haven't improved in four years, I say it's safe to say they just have low standards, and that's the way they will always be. It is frustrating and disappointing.
2020: We use to go here pretty often when they first opened and always had a great experience. We ended up moving and hadn't been here in awhile. We have eaten here 3 times in the last 30 days and each time something was wrong with the food we ordered. Staff wasn't very friendly, and unprofessional at times. After tonight's experience we won't be returning. Strongly recommend going...
Read moreEvery time i go to this place they screw up my order. The guy got smart with me because i asked for extra onions said you already got extra were talking about onions that are sluced so thin yoy can see through them, i offered to pay for some more onions and he said he couldnt do that. This is the same guy when someone pays for hot peppers he puts 3 on. I eat here 3 times a week and i usually tip but i wont be doing that anymore. I have to watch them make my sub now because they cant read a ticket. So when i order a sub that comes with tomatoe and i dont want it but i want more onion i dont see the problem. I wish there was another Jimmy Johns around because i would drive to that. Whoever the manager or owner is needs to talk to their employees about taking pride in their job because they all act like they dont want to be there and they screw up orders 90% of the time. Whoever the short man with glasses hes the that smarted off to me and makes crappy subs and hates his job. I hope someone has a...
Read moreWe stopped in today for a quick lunch, which turned into a lesson in crowd control. An entire select soccer team came in all at once and completely overwhelmed the place. The line got so long it blocked access to the booths, and there was no system for calling out orders—no names, no numbers, just a guessing game at the counter.
Orders came out in no particular order, and no one really knew what belonged to whom. Once we placed our order, we were stuck. Couldn’t leave, didn’t really want to stay, but had no other option. Eventually, people walking in were told they weren’t accepting any more orders.
If you’re heading to Jimmy John’s for speed or convenience, you might want to have a backup plan. Today, a drive-thru anywhere else would’ve been the faster choice.
In fairness to the business, the food was enjoyable. However, I’m not sure I would’ve donated that much of my day for a a full-blown...
