First, I want to say. I do not write reviews unless it is granted. This may be the only time you will see me doing such a thing. Me and my girlfriend went into this establishment today. I want to start with she has a very severe celiac disease. For those who don’t know, this is a disease that prohibits the consumption of gluten. (Bread, beer, wheat anything of that sort. If she does even come in contact with a piece of (gluten free bread) that has touched a surface that contained gluten prior, she gets very sick and you can imagine how that affects. Bloating, and usual symptoms associated with food poisoning. So back to the story we go in and order our food. She orders the SHU wrap but with the gluten free version. So a gluten free wrap and nothing containing gluten. She instructed to the cashier multiple times that she had a severe allergy and that it had to be a gluten free wrap and that she would get very sick. I usually also make a comment to allow restaurants to understand the severity. She orders them I do, I order two sausage egg and cheese sandwiches one for now and one for my brother. She orders the wrap, food comes out. They only gave me one sandwich and I bet you can guess they gave her a real (GLUTEN FILLED WRAP) so she takes a bite and has panic in her eye looking at me knowing what she just did. She goes back up and shows the chef, he goes yeah that’s a normal wrap. I then go up and he just says nonchalantly you want a new one?? I said yes, but do you realize what you just did. He responded well clearly that was a normal wrap. He said our mistake must have not properly been rung In. Thank you for owning up, but now 3 times on the way back home we had to pull over for her to puke. Also for all the reading clamming that I’m just overreacting, my family owns multiple restaurants and bars across CT. I understand the severity of a one star review. But if I were you guys, and you or a loved one has any sort of allergy, that could be life threatening. I would definitely steer far away from this place. Because now our entire Sunday is ruined and we’ll as her birthday dinner plans we had tonight with our family. She is now laying in bed with a trash can all day. Went in to order breakfast and as I was waiting for our food to the side of the coffee area I noticed the cooks had no gloves on. I didn’t say anything and decided to just hope their hands were washed. Then I noticed that the young white guy cooking the bacon was eating slices as he cooked them and almost put that same slice back on the plate where the other cooked slices were! Thankfully he did NOT. (Not sure if he realized I was to the side and had been watching him.) As I continued waiting (for forever I must say), the Spanish man who was preparing all the order food completely forgot my order, ( I had been first to order my food and last one to leave). When the cashier noticed I was getting upset about the wait she asked him in Spanish if the pancakes were ready, when he looked at her he smirked and shook his hand- as if saying oh no, I completely forgot the order. Well they had already been on the stove top and he forgot to flip them, so when I got home one side was completely burnt! I honestly loved eating breakfast here EVERY weekend. Until I realized how disgusting the cooks were! Terrible experience!

Let me not forget that as I was paying for my food I happened to glance over at the prepared food to the side and I was yet again disgusted. It honestly looked as if that food had been sitting there for days! The mayonnaise had turned colors and changed texture (tuna/ chicken salad, potato salad) . I would NEVER recommend anyone to eat those cold foods that have sat there for hrs. Please do yourself a favor and avoid getting salmonella or any other...

Everything is awsome depending on who is working the grill. Order by phone. Do not order online because its an auto $2 dollar charge that is used to pay for the online-app they use. Call them instead and save your money. Best to order on days when owner is not there. Food comes out so much better.

I have been a regular here for years. Recently I have been getting sandwiches with HALF the meat. Much "smaller" and now wrapped in Boars Head deli paper. I believe the owner has decided to cut the weight of the cuts, (portion size in half) and that is unacceptable IMO for what I am paying. I will keep everyone posted if things change.
