I had a terrible experience at this McDonald's & OTHER LOCATIONS TOO lately. They updated this location (Brice & Main) inside & out. I got into the 2nd drive through lane. There had been a car in front of me. I sat there and after 3 -5 minutes I said hello into the speaker. I continued for another 5 minutes & decided to park & go inside. Inside I still had to wait another 5 minutes before anyone even arrived at the counter! She was not apologetic at all. While waiting both for her & my food a man in plain clothes was trying to help but was very frustrated and was complaining to the few workers there. When I received my order I heard him say "I can't take one more thing to go wrong today". I spoke up & said I am sorry but I need to tell you I do not believe I should be asked to pay for my meal and he did not try to have me pay either. I explained my experience including waiting 10 minutes in the drive through and more again inside. He told me that 6 workers called in that day! I felt bad for him but he does need to maintain his composure better as part of the management team. I understand the frustration he was feeling but it was bad for all to see it too. After he and I spoke a woman was walking out from the back office and left. He tried to catch her but she didn't hear him or she was trying to slip out quickly. He said I should tell her because she was the district or general manager! I found that totally not ok. Had she did anything to help him, it did not appear so. I've been having more & more problems with other locations as well. Wrong orders, etc. At the Tussing Rd location I ordered a fish sandwich and asked for extra pickles. She had to hit 3 extra pickles (it doesn't come with any) and I asked if I could get at least 4? She said the register doesn't go beyond 3. So she verbally told him & was apparently having difficulty getting through to whoever was making the sandwich. After receiving my order I asked for one package of tarter sauce and the manager quickly "that would cost me 30 cents! I said for one pack of tarter sauce and he said yes because they already put tarter sauce on it! I couldn't believe it. I said I will be calling corporate and he shrugged his shoulder and said "go ahead I don't care". I WAS COMPLETELY UPSET BUT KEPT MY COMPOSURE. MY QUESTION TO MCDONALD'S IS IF I say hold the mustard on a hamburger WILL I GET 30 CENTS OFF? If I had not been extremely hungry I would never patronize...
Read moreI must say that this McDonald's has done a 360 degree. I love you Mr. M. The last time I was here was in, was last year sometime. I was so disappointed because of the customer service, the young people lack of respect for the customers, as well as their job, serving us. And the quality of the food was average or poor and a lot of thing was always out after a certain time, like the milkshake machine, " And there was ALWAYS A WAIT." So I just stopped coming. However, I needed some coffee and in a rush so I stopped in May. The atmos was totally inviting, I pleased and socked. The place was clean, people were talking and eating breakfast and it made me want to get more than coffee. As I stepped up a friendly face said may I help you? I instantly said oh my goodness, are you the manager he said yes. I was pleased because he stepped in while the other cashier was getting another order, and he did it quickly. I said, "there is a big difference in this place," and with that being said," he told the people behind me, I'll be right with you. There was movement in the front line as they worked with a togetherness, over all I was impressed. I was in a rush so hoping my food wouldnt take long? To my surprise my food was out, hot, and ready within 5 minutes sausage biscuit meal what's a iced coffee 2 extra squirts of caramel. The manager Marcas, (I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong.) Is phenomenal, friendly, upbeat, always working with a smile on his face and he is about the customer. I will say and state, "he is the best thing that has happened to this McDonald's." Now, I've come back several times since May, to evaluate the customer service, the quality of the food, and drive-thru wait time, so I could make sure that what I was experiencing was a turn around. Its THE TRUTH! The customer service rating 5🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟, the quality of the food 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, the smiles, the young people, and the greetings of the cashiers/staff 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 , and most of all the production in getting the line down as well as getting people out of the lobby with their food hot and right is 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have been to this McDonald's in the last couple of months more than I have gone in the last year. Thank you Mr. M your awesom. You have made a difference in food service by providing excellent customer service, and quality food in a mannerly time with a phenomenal spirit to serve our community. Read moreRude employees and I don't mean just 1 employee either. 1st window lady taking your payment rude. then 2nd window the guy goes to hand my husband the food then pulls it back and says no not your food when clearly it was considering it was a postmates order we ordered andneededtogo deliverthatwas only 2 happy mealsanda large sprite. He couldn't even understand anything we were saying because he obviously didn't understand English clearly. I have nothing against our Spanish speaking community but I do not think they should be allowed working at the window where they can't understand the customer's & us customers who only speak English can't understand them. Anyway he was telling us it wasn't our order because he was nosing into our car watching me get our hot bag from DoorDash out to put the food in to keep it hot since postmates doesn't give us delivery drivers the hot bags. So we have to show him the receipt to prove it's our order. Then another girl says it's a postmates order it is their's I don't know why their putting it in a DoorDash bag. Well it's not even their business at all. Why are they even worried about what I'm doing with my order in my car? The point is it could have been my my own food I was putting in the hot bag to keep my food hot until I got home they didn't no nor did they need to. So they make it take way longer to get our customers food delivered & could have cost us our tip which is where we make our money. To sum up my long review of the horrible trip to the worst McDonald's I've ever been to employees are rude, extremely nosey & very slow. Best advice I can offer is drive that extra few minutes to the next McDonald's down the street. Sorry to all about this very long review I just feel people should know just how awful this...
